It use to be that women in the army got graded at a different standard then men on the pt test, but they started allowing women in combat jobs and well you can’t give women combat jobs if they are not strong enough or fast enough ti be effective. So 4 years ago the us army decided to standardize the pt test based on job. If you wanted a combat job, man or women you had to be able to lift, carry and run at a certain level. This meant if a women wanted a combat job the had to be as strong as the men. Well they tested in and discovered that very few women could pass that standard and that the number of women in combat jobs began ti decrease because of the new test so they changed it back. Now women are graded at a lower level again and they can get into combat rolls regardless if they can meet the same standard as a man.
they even got rid of the event that women kept failing at the highest rate and replaced it with planks

I go to the gym quite frequently and there are a few swole women there who are strong for a woman but even casual dad bod male lifters out lift them on pretty much every exercise, it is just genetics. Personally if my daughter lost a place in a championship she had be training her whole life for because the world is to soft to tell some dude he can't compete against women I would be pissed.

Fucking hilarious. Tour de France, early MMA, NFL and baseball would like to have a word. In fact, a lot of athletes take PEDs, just to keep their body through immense wear and tear.

if you don't think athletes would transition just to win more I suggest researching "Goldman's Dilemma". They asked a bunch of athletes if there was a magic pill that guaranteed you'd be the top of your sport for 5 years, BUT you'd die at the end of the 5 years, would you take it? About HALF said they'd take it.

I wouldn’t say the entire community Irl but in online political I mean you maybe got a better foothold if you talk about the Online Political community ,even then you can find transgender who have opinions who go against the orthodoxy
@@carved6749 I don't really remember the exact context of my original statement as its nearly a year old, but I really cant think of any high profile trans people that break the mold when it comes to what i would call 'bad ideas'. I'm not saying transgender people are a monolith, but there is definitely a large audience within that demographic that is eating it all up. I don't think there is a sizeable enough audience within the trans community that wants real and honest discussion around the issues they face.
For example look how quickly some one with their own de-transition story gets vilified and dehumanized. Keffals loves to talk shit on de-transitioning Trans people. You'd think there would be engagement for solving this issue of misdiagnosis and inappropriate treatments for what is clearly a broken system, big ol fucking nope. If only to ensure trans people get adequate treatment and to improve their own support systems.
Keffals is a proven lying, cruel and spiteful person who has done far more harm than good. Despite all the evidence I cant think of any transgender content creators or allies who have come out and disavowed keffals. I cant think of any... Even her own audience is proud she stole $100,000, ive seen them acknowledge the grift on twitter and youtube. It doesnt bother them.
They just want free reassignment surgery, Kids to have access to HRT, and men to compete in women's sports.

@@lumbermill8588 good I was just making sure you didn’t think Trans people were a monolith and I 100% Argee with you that high profile Tran People like Keffels are awful for the public image of Trans people and a concerning amount of Trans people are radicalized. I would add Jesse Gender and JamniDodger to that equation of people bad for Trans publicity and I guess you could put in Philosophy Tube as well.

just my personal experience with a year of T blocker and E patches at the lowest dosage purchasable.
my muscles may have been just as big volume wise but my muscles sure as hell were not activating as efficiently as when I'm on natural T levels (I cant afford to transition anymore and am now at natural hormone levels I guess) I couldn't open a jar you guys! how cliche is that???? it was the turning point for me when I recognised that I would probably break my wrist if I forced myself to open that jar.
lifting was a lot harder, I had to move places and a lot of boxes needed to be moved. while in my case I think it helps my side that I wasn't very active (I'm basically permanently in front of my PC)
I personally don't think trans people should compete but I'm lost as to what the solution is from there. if you're transitioning and are very active (like gyming or bodybuilding) then yea totally not fair cause your body would have to be compensating for the extra difficulty moving wieghts.

@illogical hawk It's especially a slippery slope if they can tie political opinions in with psychological health, as in we may even get to a point where "Bigotry" is seen as being psychologically unhealthy and if you said somethig like destiny said "I don't think trans women should compete with cis women" That's transphobic which is bigotry which means destiny can no longer own firearms.

5'6" is closer to average height for hispanic males in the US. it's more 5'9-10" for white/black men
