I'm tired of hearing that President Trump appointed David Weiss as US Attorney for Delaware. The long standing practice to select US Attorneys is to select a candidate reccomended by the sitting US Senators from that state. The Incumbent Democrat Senators from Delaware recommended Weiss. Trump appointed him based on their recommendation. Thats a long way from saying that President Trump actively wanted him in that job.

Garland has shown that he supports the prosecution of all who commit criminal acts whether they are a presidents son or an ex-president. Jordan intentionally misrepresented the stolen top secret document case against the ex-president. NARA asked trump to return the papers for 1 year and 3 months. His lawyers told him that he had to return the papers or risk an FBI warrant. The ex-president ignored his lawyer's advice. There is video footage of his employees hiding boxes. Oops, documented facts that jordan didnt mention. Also missing is that trump was indicted at the recommendation of grand juries. Those citizens decided that there was enough evidence to warrant an indictment. No mention of that in this hearing.

What's is disturbing is that the Republicans don't understand what not interfering with an investigation means. Weiss was appointed by Trump and found not much. The Biden Administration could have fired Weiss which is typical when the administration changes. To allow a Trump appointee on in order to continue an investigation was a significant indication that the new administration would not interfere.
We don't have a Department of Justice nor Secret Services in United States anymore, we have a political police instead. Those are two different things. Departments of Justice work FOR their people, and a political police protects their Government authorities FROM its own citizens. Banana Republic it is.

Congress can't bring charges against anyone, they can reveal crimes in committees, but it is up to someone else to bring charges, usually the AG or FBI.
Further when congress by committee revealed Hilary Clinton illegally stored state dept files on her personal servers, FBI directer James Comey decided not to bring charges because supposedly she didn't know it was illegal, so if you are a democrat ignorance of the law allows for no prosecution. This has been going on for years and still is!

Justice for all is exactly what Garland and Biden stand for. Making sure that behavior is investigated whether it is the President's son or the ex-president. Off this particular subject - democrats stand for justice for all when it comes to putting caps on prescription drugs so Americans aren't bankrupted to stay alive. It also saves the government a lot of money. Justice for all so that Americans have a minimum wage. Justice for all so that Americans can have affordable health care. Justice for all so that rural America can have broadband access and so their bridges don't fall down. All of which provides better jobs.

This involves a lot of people and all they all want to do is play the blame game or use the fact that it’s an on going investigation and they cannot comment at this time. This gives them a lot of time to figure out some type of excuse on why certain things were not done. Their biggest hope is to hold everting off as long as they can in the hope that Biden gets re-elected as President. If that happens they won’t care what lousy excuse they give because at the end of the day they know Biden will not fire them from their jobs. Why would Biden not fire them? Because they protected Biden and his son all this time,so Biden knows that they will continue protecting him in his second term. This is why it’s so important for everyone to vote Trump 2024. That's exactly what is important here. Weiss was appointed by a republican to do the job, investigate the son of a democrat. Typically, a new administration would fire the previous guy. Biden allowed Weiss to stay on as to not interfere in the ongoing investigation. He did NOT fire the republican and appoint a Democrat to take over. Garland said that he kept hands off because he said he would not interfere in the investigation. Being involved in any way would be improper. Why is that difficult to understand? To ask the same question over and over and demand a different answer because you don't like the answer is a waste of time and political posturing.

Garland is doing exactly what he said that he would do. He kept his hands off an investigation by a republican, trump appointed prosecuter. Joe Biden allowed the republican to continue in order to NOT impede the investigation and maintain the impartial integrity of the DOJ. Garland did what was proper. Can you imagine republican comments if he'd looked over Weiss's shoulder and interfered? You can't have it both ways - interference and non-interference.
Who hired someone has nothing to do with an employees behavior. The one in charge of the employee has the responsibility to manage them. The boss does NOT get to pass off responsibility. That would be dereliction of duty. Trying to make it about Trump is a clear nefarious deflection. If this was a court of justice/law Garland and many others mentioned would be criminally charged.
