I sent this video to a friend from Uganda her children are old enough to travel alone and they are planning to visit asap. As Africans we were not taught how beautiful our land is. I am a Ugandan and never experienced this save for two road trips , one to Kasese town near where Queen Elizabeth Park is and the other to Kanungu by Congo border. I now live abroad but will arrange for this experience whenever I go home.

Enjoyed seeing the Western part of the country, Kabale district is the reason why Uganda was named the pearl of Africa. Because of its weather and hills, it had a resemblance to those of the Swiss Alps in Europe.
No my dear, Uganda was named the pearl by Churchill Winstone after he travelled the whole country. Also the people, their Culture and friendliness amazed him, and he gave all those as reasons. But today, the government has messed up the country.

Iv been looking online at all the places you and Maya show like Namibia and the hotel you took your grandmother to but they only ever go to the “standard” holiday places. Help!
