  • Allyse Sullivan and Joe Kim, Best of Breed Mini Rex Breeders from the 2021 & 2022 ARBA Convention, teach breeding strategy to move the high point farther back to the proper spot in the topline. Many Mini Rex are very short and deep but peak in the middle of their back, which is too far forward.

I think finding parts is super hard!! Been trying for my Tri Rex, most have super forward peeks.. looking for other colored rex to help fix it..

Do you have any links to good diagrams of things to look for? I would like to teach my kids how to judge their own rabbits but I have trouble myself figuring it out.

I have a question from a meat standpoint wouldn't the incorrect one lead to larger front legs I know it's against show standers but if you were trying for the best proportion on a carcass wouldn't this be what you want?

Hindquarters and Loin are the most meat of the rabbit. The shoulders have less than 15% of total meat of carcass

@@TheRabbitShow so this is the only way to maximize the meat proportion for the overall animal?
