Just bought both of these in the past couple of months. Have not taken them out, but since I previously owned the early Walther Umarex A5 rifle, I knew these were solid!! Nice plinking toys with heavy duty cool factor!
I've had the SD model for a decade or so. The gun doesn't field strip very far, so it's more work to clean it than somethibg like an AR. The gun has always run really well. It's a fun plinker.
Exactly any of the cool tactical .22s even my GSG STG 44 extra mags are perpetually sold out. I wish someone would 3d print or make their own and sell them.
Buy the pistol version !!! already set up for threaded suppressor, use SB Tactical (FS1913) folding brace on a 5 slot 1913 rail mounted on the butt cap! Looks and works great. No SBR !!!stamp
I'm not happy with the end cap sling swivel..... cheap immitation and not good! It will not properly allow the HK 3 point sling attachment as it's intended. For a few $$$ more, HK could have got it right, but nope! Did you get the FS1913? I wonder if the HKPDW will fit properly? In the mean time, I'll improvise and overcome the sling swivel/end cap issue. Thanks and Merry Christmas!
@@tmaddrummer as of now pretty much the only option is to get a 1913 railed end cap and get the fs1913 brace from SB tactical. All SP5/MP5 braces will not work.
@@tmaddrummer You can also just buy the sb tactical brace w/Butt cap but need to adjust inside of brace (rails) for good fit. Seen this option on UA-cam
There is no suppressor for the SD model. The fake suppressor threads onto the muzzle and tensions the pencil thin barrel to keep it straight while shooting.
I just sold my older Umarex imported MP5AP model in favor of the new HK Imported MP5SD model, while that internal parts appear to be all the same the trigger housing on the new SD model is plastic not metal and I’m very disappointed that HK would cheap out like this. If I’d known this up front I would have never purchased the SD… Shame on you HK!

I’ve had one of these for years before they stop production and have put thousands upon thousands or rounds through mine and no problems. These now one are the same !
@@johnedwards2937 My point is Umerex is still an airsoft company. You should look for a used 522 on gun broker. It is an awesome rifle. The M & P 15- 22 just won the marketing war. But, the sig is built like a full size center fire rifle at 6lbs! Good luck Sir.

Got it today on armslist for $400. Couldn’t be happier. It’s a lot of fun and sent 150 rounds down range in my backyard.
You sir are living the dream.
Someone sold it on armslist already???

Im confused is this real caliber gun are just airsoft?

Great gun, fun to shoot. Being 22lr, it's a cheap day at the range with the buddies.

Gunmagwarehouse and hkparts have them for around 30$

This is CA compliant?
Got both pistol and sd
I have the sd version. can i remove the collapsing stock and put on a solid stock from a real mp5?

WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE STANDS FROM?? THANK YOU
What are the threads on the rifle version - when shroud removed - they are not 1/2 x 28 - would like to know what they are ? Thank you
Hi, has it an Alu of steel upper? Thanks
Love this place
Those are nice, got my eye on SD version just wish they had top mounted picitanny rail.
I added a red dot, tac light with pressure switch, and 5mw green laser.
That rifle is just Cooooool, WooW

ended up ordering mine online did my background check and got delayed by the ATF :(
don't have this but am very interested in purchasing ...
Right down the street from me 1604 & Hausman
Can I buy an upper for either of them?
Soon 🔜
Can a red dot be added? if so any suggestions?
yes it can. amazon sells the claw rail for around 15 or you can buy cheap red dots that already come with claw style mounts built in for mp5.
You now have the responsibility to fight enemies...good luck... 😂
🙏
You can't tell just by looking at it that 3-lug isn't in spec and won't work
Can I mount a scope on this thing?
Yes, takes a special amount tho...look it up
i luv it, i need a bigger clip, ten rounds in like 5 seconds aint shit.
The intense reload and exaggerated tac movements are ridiculous. Rule 62, bro.
Send it i want one

Umarex did that not HK but you can blame HK for allowing it.
Lol i had one of these like 11 years ago. This is not like new release.
Fact - doing the slap WILL BREAK your charging handle. DONT DO IT!
On this one or all hks?
HK recommends slapping it bruh. It’s in the owners manual for the sp5
if i cant slap it then whats the point
