Hi. I was wondering if you could please let me know how much the builder charged you to brick the chimney. I know you did all the labour work, just want a rough idea of what im going to be charged as i am planning on taking my chimney down myself and getting a builder to rebuild it. Thank you
Great labour work from you and the chimney looks Great aswell .As your flashing you could use some caulking to seal your just to make sure water doesn't go in .
Hi - Thanks for your comment. The flashing should keep the water out on its own but it needs to be well chased into the brick joints and it’s there where some roofers will use caulking. Thanks for watching and your comment - best wishes at this time from Cumbria:)
What are you talking about ?? The guy didn’t even have a winch set up only a bit of blue string wrapped around the scaffold pole. It amazes me these guys jump on UA-cam to show ‘how it’s done’ 😂 Comic
Hi - No, these are new bricks from a company called ‘Furness Brick’ - I believe they do heritage style bricks, these are ‘Antique Orange’. Thanks for watching…Regards
