- Chinese SUV crash test. Note the vanity air bag acts as a cloth, doing nothing to stop the steering wheel from crushing the driver's face and shattering his shoulder to bits. Passenger and driver's legs are shattered completely.

@XploiTee renaults usually perform very well in the NCAP tests, however they have cheated before in one of the tests. with the laguna i think, one of the early models it got a 5 star rating but it was later found that the test car had extra padding fitted to help it get 5 stars. the extra padding fitted did not appear on the production cars
I believe the Chevy Venture was a low-cost vehicle. But even then, being a car sold in America required it to certain safety standards. Reliability and quality aside, the Venture is a relatively safe vehicle compared to the Chinese made cars.

@Anonydun81 lol thanks for the fair words. Trust me, this guy, huntingdog4u, LITERALLY used over 15 different usernames to attack all my videos and spammed my inbox. UA-cam removed about 50% of the spam messages, I have removed about 60 from my videos myself. I just didn't bother removing the rest because it's too time consuming. The guy has now been banned and I haven't received any spam from anybody since!!!

Swedish Autos aren't very good. The Saab for example have a very high rate of mechanical failure.
Japanese and German cars (except the crappy Volkswagons) beat Swedish cars for safety and reliability.

This shows how hard it is to build a safe car and how mutch technologie has gone in to this shit in the last couple of decades.
Everybody knows how a seatbelt and airbag work, but try to make a cage-construction, krimplezones, and what not yourself.
german cars might be safer. but definately does not live up to the reliability of withstanding over 400000kilometers easily as compared to the japanese vehicles with regular maintenance.

Actually, Hyundai/Kia and Ford have all surpassed Toyota and Honda in quality. Your list would be true 10 years ago but not the case anymore.

@tyau1234 Just look to your right at the related videos. They all arent 10 year old single examples. China does not have the same safety regulations as the big manufacturers, so why waste the extra money on safety?
