I don't know, my brother and I went to the 1986 Auburn Florida game at the swamp and when Kerwin Bell made a 2 point run to beat Auburn 18-17 I swear my ears hurt for a week.
Eli Marger I was about to write the same thing. I was sitting in the endzone and the first play of the game is the only one I remember. Hope Debose makes some more catches like that this year.

I don't think people give them their due, because it was sort of lost in the middle of three title seasons, but anybody who knows their stats, knows the 2011 Alabama defense was something really special. They took an LSU team that was also very good, and made them look like an FCS offense.

If Brantley wouldn’t have gotten hurt, this game would have been FAR more interesting. Score probably would’ve been 31-20 instead of 38-10.

Did anyone ever find out the explanation of the head ref throwing the bean bag as a fumble and then calling a time out? And why was there not a review of the play by Alabama? Strange play calling for sure.

Scott S Verne is respected by all his colleagues and I'm sure he couldn't give any less of a fuck what some dickhead on the internet has to say. He's one of the best in the business. I've heard Keith Jackson--revered by many as one of the best ever--make tons, TONS of mistakes. Guess you don't ever make any of those. Tough being perfect?
