- So after last week of being told my tyres were very bald 😬 I splashed out on some top shelf rubber. What a different 👌🏼 I love how the Maxton lip looks too, such a great addition to the rear of the car 🔥

Nice video .. I’ve got a Suzuka Grey RS3 and I’ve had issues with slight wheel wobble as you mentioned.. previous owner has fitted 225s all round and Im aware that they had 235s up front originally which I will do … I love mine and only use it now and again … Great cars to drive and I’m hoping they increase in value as they get rarer … 👍🙏
Thanks very much! It’s such a common issue, the rs3 is very sensitive when it comes to tyres and balancing. They’re a lot of fun mate, and I agree, I believe they will go up in value. There’s not many 8P’s left! 🔥

@@AutoBay yeah...it is..BUT its all part of it...i bought mine knowing that big bills will be the price i pay for all the smiles i get from driving and owning an 8p rs3...lol The spoiler looks great its the contrasting colours. Im after some black roof rails....i think they would look v good on yours also, due to the colour of your car.
@@lenep9985 you’re not wrong mate, I was the exact same. NOTHING is cheap for these cars 😭🤣. I honestly really want roof rails like you said.. they look brilliant in my opinion. Would you consider drilling into the roof to install them properly or would you go about it another way? I know some people have just stuck them them down. 🤔
@@AutoBay id like to get it done correctly if possible, but ive no intention of carrying anything on there, i just think they look nice.

@@AutoBay Hopefully there will be many more for you mate. Watched a couple of your uploads, your content seems bang on. Had my RS3 just over 2 years. Its Misano red with buckets at 73k. I've had a APR stage 1 map added as I had a 370 bhp stage 2+ MK6 Golf R previously and the 340 wasnt quite cutting it. It's now at 408bhp and I'm happy with that for now. I've worked through the usual maintenance jobs and had the wheels refurbished in black diamond cut and the calipers painted gloss red last week. So far I've done:
-New haldex pump ( Mar 2019)
- 4xMichelin PS4s (2020)
-New Audi Revision C Front and rear pads and brakes ( Jan 2020)
-Rear differential oil change ( July 2020)
-Powerflex dog bone insert and engine mount (September 2020)
-2 services (Mar 2020 and Mar 2021)
-S tronic Service (July 2021)
-Haldex service and Haldex filter change (May 2021)
Maintaining can be expensive, but spread out across the year, isnt as expensive as a failure of the part.
Other than having to change the engine bay fuse box (£20 off ebay for a genuine used) the old girl has been faultless so far mechanically. Had to order 2 rear springs yesterday due to a broken one and also 2 rear drop links due to an advisory on the MOT. But it's well looked after, as these types of cars should be, they're a rare thing these days. I went Tunerfest at Oulton Park Circuit (Near Warrington) last weekend and didnt see another one there. Although, I have got a glancing eye on an 8V. The 8Ps are fetching good money at the moment and whilst the mileage on mine isnt too high, I will want to get rid on mine whilst the values are high and the car still looks and drives as well as it does.
I also hope the same pal! I love my car, I’m so happy I went with the rs3 after contemplating many other cars. I’ve previously had a mk2 focus ST, which is how I fell in love with the 5 pot.
They’re so rare and unique, like you said, they hold their value and I expect will go up too... I’ll have this car for a good few years (I usually get rid after a year it seems 🤣 but this one is special).
It’s great to see you love yours after the 2 years still, and regularly maintain it like it should be 👍🏼 I wish to get my mounts upgraded and brakes also like you’ve listed!

@@AutoBay I noticed your previous uploads! I got a nose bleed and went light headed when I saw the BMW and Ford uploads 🤣 Other than owning a C reg Vauxhall Nova when I was 17, I've always owned VAG motors. My love for the RS has been a slow burner. My 6R was epic. Although it was a 10 reg, it had much newer tech such as the DCC suspension. But month by month, polish after polish and job by job, I'm now loving it. The recent wheel refurbishment literally finished off the visuals. If you're going OEM discs, certain Audi dealers tend to list them on Ebay wayyyyy cheaper than going to your local dealer. They're about £900 retail for the fronts. I got mine for £480. The dog bones and engine mounts arent hugely noticeable tbh, they just vibrate a touch at idle. Where are you based? I'm up in currently very sunny Manchester, I tend to only go as far down at Santa Pod and Bruntingthorpe! Haha They do seem to be rare everywhere other than the town I live, I know of 4 others 🤣 No worries mate.
Anybody have any updates on where I can find this Maxton Design 8P s-line spoiler? I see the regular one on there but not the one shown in the video.

How have you managed to drive that on a public road with illegal plates and get away with it? They look crap by the way. Needed to be said, sorry mate, but they do.
These are road legal plates mate. Rather than show plates. They follow all DVLA guidelines and have a valid BSAU code 👍🏼 I love them 😍🤣 but each to their own mate.
Yeah was gana say pretty sure these plates are 100 percent legit mate.

Absolute dream car. Random stuck on plastic adds nothing. I can see the maxton stuff a mile off on cars. Not in a good way.
