I still have an iPhone 7 plus and finally want to go back to Samsung, I'm thinking about buying the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus... but I'm still unsure, I'm afraid that with daily use like UA-cam, some gaming, Instagram and surfing just gets too hot... I'm very impressed with everything else... I also need a good battery life because I have to use Google Maps a lot ^^ I really like the design of the phone! Great video :) keep it up!! I just bought this phone in the UK direct from Samsung, i traded my s20+ in (for £200) and with a discount code the balance was £499 ... Happy with that!!
Its beast s24 plus exynos2400 is beast it has better thermal limt and better heat mangment so in intense gaming it beats 8gen3 after 20 to 30 min as 8gen3 loses its peak power while 2400 does not

Hi, since you have first hand experience with it, does it need extra screen protector? I realize the new flagships usually have screen protectors themselves and I like to know if that's enough?
S24+ has weak aluminum frame-easily gets a dent compared to My 5 year old s9+ which has solid frame. The exynos 2400 got 1,750,000 on antutu benchmark I did which is amazing
I never turned off my data or wifi and been using for daily phones and intense music and video streaming. The battery does hold for 11 hours. Adaptive brightness and Battery saver are on btw.

Exynos 2400 does a good job on S24
Wrong!! , very bad standby draining, more heating issues, have it and sell it after 2 weeks

I don't see what is reserved for the ultra series you can't compare, maybe the 5X camera which might not be a deal breaker. Every other one is equal

I've literally gotten 21 hours of total battery and 9 hours of screen on time. So, 11 hours of standby time with almost 10 hours of actual use.
The battery barely achieves 6 hours DOT with light use, without playing games just browsing social media and watching youtube .

Give your battery time to calibrate. It is still learning based on your usage pattern, it will improve after a week or 2 of continuous usage.
It's takes about a month for the battery to get calibrated 😂😂
