I used the s21 ultra, s22 ultra, now the s24 plus. The s24 ultra does not offer $300 more features (spen and 10x zoom). Save some money and go for the s24+
I've had the s21 thru the s23 ultra, but this year is the first time in a while I'll go with the s24 plus just because the screen resolution is the same along with the charging at 45w plus the same AI features. The only thing missing is the anti glare coating that's on the s24u this year. But the brightness on the whole s24 line up is great. And I really never used the spen to much. And the battery being just a bit smaller on the plus it's worth it to me
How is the selfie camera with compared to s22ultra? Is it bad on s24plus?
@adv.kkhanniazi2800 basically the same. I don't take a lot of selfies. Don't let the 40mp of the s22 ultra hold you back. The 12mp of the 24plus is very capable
But it comes with crappy exynos here. So people might rethink alot
Ye, I might buy the s24 plus and it just looks better, weighs less, and idc about having an amazing camera.
people underestimate how important size and weight is! that wide squared off body on the ultra makes it feel huge. I love the size and feel of the s24+ it's comfortable to hold and use and that's a big factor in buying a phone for me. The display is still big and gorgeous without it feeling like a brick.
i agree
Absolutely 💯 ,
I couldn't imagine even trying to fit the Ultra in your jeans or even jogging pants lol 😆 😁
So true. I did a trade-in on my S23fe for the S24+. S23fe has horrible ergonomics and I couldn't get use to it after 5 months. Same size as the S24+ but heavier and smaller display with a poorly placed underperforming fingerprint scanner.
You're not using every feature all the time but you're carrying your phone all the time. So ergonomics is important to many.
Went from S23Ultra to S24+ and I'm loving it.! Lighter and much more convenient. As I was so used to with note, Ultra, occasionally, I tend to press bottom of the phone for s-pen.! lol!!!!
nice!
I did the same thing! Samsung offered me $1,000 for trade in for my S23 Ultra. I cracked the screen on it, and it was going to be $400 to get repaired anyways. Samsung with the promo, accepted cracked screens as long as it still worked.
Got the S24+ in the blue Grey color. Whatever it's called lol. The 512 gig too. Love it!
It's scary how good Samsung made the s24 lineup this year and there's rumors the s25 lineup is going to be even better! It's just kinda hard for me to believe but I know it's way too early but I can't wait to see if there's any truth to the rumors...
What about camera difference guys ? Is camera has better quality? I'm not interested in zoom or telephoto... just main camera pics and video quality
I have the s24+ and I ❤️ it. I think it definitely is a sleeper phone. It feels like an ultra just missing a few things.
Do you have the snapdragon version or the Exynos version?
If you have the Exynos version can you please say something about the day to day use and battery experience?
Snapdragon and it is a beast cannot recommend enough you can pretty much do everything you do on the Ultra but without the s pen, camera and anti reflective screen. If those aren't deal breakers for you then highly recommend the s24 plus 👌
@@Anamae5451 that's great to hear but the only problem is I can only get the Exynos version😢
It's not that big of a deal in terms of performance as I'm a light user I do not even game
But I do prioritize battery life and longevity(heating) because I am planning to keep this phone for a long time
I have watched multiple reviews of the s24 and the s24+ and I'm having mixed feelings cause all of them have different views
That's why I have a bit of scepticism going for the Exynos variant
Do you have any advice?
Best advice I can give is you need to watch a real tech UA-camr not these Apple fan boys posing as tech UA-camrs unfortunately there's a lot of apple fan boys smh... I would suggest Flossy and Ella they explain more of the pro and cons which should help you decide. Good luck.
Hello. How long does your battery last for? Mine doesnt get more than 8 hours
Thank you for keeping it to the point. People will have similar titles for their video and then they start from scratch and go over the specs for each of the models.
How big of an upgrade would it be from switching from a Pixel 6 to the S24+?
I initially got the S24+ and though I was missing out on the Ultra. Did an exchange for the Ultra and after a week with the Ultra, yes, there are TONS to like, but the squared edges is just too hard for me to enjoy. Honestly? Think I'm going to the Plus again.
I would have gotten the P8P, but that avg battery, decent fingerprint scanner made me not even give it a chance.
did you decide to keep Ultra or changed back to s24+ ? Im no between those 2 :D
@@DamianNocun Hey. I did go back to the Plus. I enjoy it. Battery life is really good, but honestly? I reaaaally miss the screen on the Ultra.
The only thing that stopped me from getting the ultra is the square edge. Personally, I feel the rounded edge phone would fit better in handbags and the handling would be easier. Not gonna lie tho, I almost traded the 24 plus in for the ultra this month. Did feel like I was missing out on it honestly. But I'm glad I chose to stick with the 24+
@@user-pb1ws9uc2h Now, I do miss the beautiful screen on the ultra.
Been enjoying mine so much 😊
Pen I think is more a tablet kind of thing. So I'd put my money towards a tablet with pen and save a bit on the phone. Balance is the magic word 😅
Nice, very nice phone though Dex (as pen) is a tablet kinda thing (for me at least).
Nice video, you mention the good, the bad and the subjective things.
One of my fav YT-channels 😎
Hows the exynos chip performing? Only drawback for me that my country aint getting snapdragon, only exynos version...
Godly in real life test it kills crapdragon specially in heated enviorment
Thanks - I'm getting this :)
Really happy with this phone insane battery life
how is the cam ? bc many ppl say quality is very bad
@Biejeingeraaptj_ I came from the flip 4 and cam is way better.
I went with the S24 base model. Perfect size for me.
Same.
How is the battery 🔋 in the S24 ? Is that Snapdragon version ? 😀
@@nccapone344 I have the exynos version, I usually don't have problem for a day usage. But when I was on holidays in Italy [data roaming and 5G] the battery life was significantly less.
@aravind_gopi appreciate the feedback 🙏 👌
So I should be really good on the S24 Snapdragon version then!
I dont even game on my cell phone or record or upload videos to any social media! My cell service is 4G, so I should be able to push the battery 🔋 to day two!
Besides the battery 🔋 how do you like the S24 ? Good camera 🤳? 🤔
Do u have the grainy screen issue
I need immediate help please. When zooming in past 10 all the way up to 30 I hear and feel a click inside of the phone. It is not a vibration it is literally something moving.
What is the yellow case at time marker 4:03?
The screen is literally brighter by alot, you just gotta enable the setting to allow it to get brighter
Hypothetically, if I were interested in purchasing a Samsung I would choose the plus over the ultra. This year, the plus models have been given some serious upgrades in the form of quad HD display, 12 g of RAM and a much larger battery. Over the last couple of years, the plus models have been completely underpowered and totally overpriced. Strictly speaking, unless you need an s pen and a gimmicky titanium frame why spend the extra money on the ultra?
Truthfully, I'm not crazy about the design of either device. I absolutely detest what I refer to as flat slab Flintstone phones. Their perpetual right angles are very uncomfortable and bulk up the device to the degree that it makes it uncomfortable to hold. Once more, flat screens just don't have the premium look or the ergonomics of curved glass. That may work out for fred, Barney and the gang down in Bedrock but, they can keep their casket shaped iPhone clones and I'll take a device with curved glass any day. Just one of many reasons that I chose the OnePlus 12.
The battery for this phone is amazing. I go to the gym a lot I’m usually in there two and a half hours play music on UA-cam and it still in the 80%. I love this phone upgraded from the s9+. Only thing I dislike is it doesn’t have led notifications like my s9+.
Yeah I miss those notification lights on android
Same, I just upgraded from the s9+ after finding out that the waterproofness had seriously degraded in the 5 years I owned it. Honestly, I thought the led lights not being present would bother me more, but it really doesn't. Also, you can turn on either screen or flashlight flashing in response to notifications, though I found it more annoying than helpful and turned them back off. But yeah, I wouldn't mind a small led notification light.
hello everybody. I purchased the s24+ and what I noticed is that in video calls, for example Facebook Messenger, in QHD+ resolution, white stripes appear as if it were interference. something that doesn't happen on my s8. Anyone else having this problem?
Yes same with me... though i only noticed it when using FB messenger, other apps is excellent.
It's really an iphone with android...Dream come true
Fr, I like the Iphone design better but I like samsung one ui better.
I definitely DON'T have any regrets after 2 weeks, the size is perfect, the ease of use, the screen, the storage and memory, the battery is good, glad I made the change from the S22 Ultra. Did enjoy that phone but wasn't using as many features with it, S-pen being 1 of them.
Glad I came back to android but I always keep an open mind anyway.
Nice!
Oneplus also has edge panels
I went from an s10 to a note 10+ to and then s23 Ultra which felt massive in my hands. I wanted to downsize but also wanted a big storage option, so I went with the s24+ 512gb and loving it so far
battery on mobile data plz?
I like the quad hd display on the s24 plus
Good video.... I bought a used s21ultra ($350) just before the trade-ins on the s24plus and Samsung gave me $550 for it. So brought my price down to $800 which I think this phone is worth. Battery life's really good on it I would say the one thing it needs is an update on the telephoto lens they haven't changed the camera lens on this phone in 3 years and so it's a good phone but not at $1,000.
Nice video
S24+ Best Phone
What folks don't realize is of course people won't have the same phone after 7 years BUT that doesn't mean NEW phones of same model won't be sold to new buyers years later
Got mine for 39 nd I like it
Iove my S24+
Hi, thanks for this video, I had S23 ultra and I think that I'll buy the S24 plus, I don't use so much the Span... and not a gamer.... i belong to Super mario time... lol, thanks! Have a great day
You nothing mention about regretting but you still post the review as regretting one month later
I just upgrade to the s24 ultra from the s22 plus and trade in my s22 plus got 300 and used it to bring down the cost of the s24 ultra im loving this phone the display the speakers are amazing i got the 12GB of ram and 256 version.
will be getting my s24plus 512GB 12gb ram. exynos processor. for 547 US dollars. the guy used it for 2 months and is planning to jump to s24 ultra so hes selling it to me.
I like samsung Galaxy s24plus
I went from a S9 to a s24+ and do not regret one single thing!
Finally upgraded from S10+ to S24+ after over 5 years of heavy use. All the previous newer models were downgrades. This model is an upgrade. Very pleased.
nice!
I've had my S24 plus (Gray) since January 26th and I really like it so far I'm almost at the point of making this my daily driver and making my Google pixal 8 Pro my side piece what would you do?
sell both and buy a zflip and a tab s9
its tough to choose between those two but i'm sticking with the s24+ for now. I don't think i could carry two phones lol
@Orney nah, the 7 flip doesn't get 7 years of OS updates, and the battery is worse. It's also nowhere near as durable, and it doesn't have Dex.
@@Orney I already have a Motorola Razr plus
I'm watching on my S28+🎉
S23+ you mean?

@user-ww4og8oj8c Need to know if the Toronto Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup this year ? So I can cash in on Vegas
Then I can buy the S24 or S25 😅 🙃🥳
Times are tough!!! 🤷
Is this the exynos or the snapdragon version?
If he's based on the US, then it's probably an SD version.
The reason i want to get s24 is its compact size.
That’s what I got. Perfect size.
@@ljacobs357looks like a sweet size ,
How does it feel in the hand ? 😊
thinking about going to 24+ from s23. Cant decide. Viewing content is better, but also do I need to be viewing more content?
@blakeolson2036 lol haha 🤣 that is very true 👍
To be honest, I have the S20+ 5G 6.7" screen for almost 4 years next month!
And I wanna try the S24 6 2" screen I'm sure I'll love it.
Just think a few years back when cell phone screens were 3"inches and jumped to 5" people were like man that's to big it better not go past 6" lmao now most people think 6.2" is to small I really think that's the sweet spot to be honest! 🥳😀
@@nccapone344 bezels have changed alot I wonder how much smaller the s24+ is compared to s20+
Regret: not buying the OnePlus 12 instead for less money
*Green Line* joined the chat.
Using S24 compact❤❤
Nobody will use it for 7 years for sure. Bit its good for resale and trade in. Even for used phone or used used phone users still can trad in fir a decent price
is this the snapdragon version?
Yes
Misleading title. Thank you though.
We need giveaway episode.....
For size S24+ is the best. But It comes with exynos here. Thats why I am not upgrading.
Yes, that's right. I've had mine for a month now, and in day-to-day usage, you won't notice any difference.I love my plus with Exynos 😊
It's too light. Doesn't feel solid
That's one of my favorite things about it. I don't feel like I'm holding a brick, and it isn't pulling my pants down without a tight belt on. And still has impressive battery life and specs.
You hit it when you said “ Nobody wants to pay a FULL PRICE when you know it’s going to go on SALE “
I want to piggy back on that statement. “ AND IT DOESN’T HOLD IT VALUE “
Bad cameras, AI destroys the pictures. Just returned mine
more please? my s23 takes alright photos you think its worse this year?
I agree my s23 plus looks better
@@tyiabigotea919 I funny care future proofing with 12g ram
returned mine as well for the same reasons.
@@me660 right the s24 plus would overheat back to back all day just from daily use and the battery would drain FAST at QHD 120hz so I could only use it on 60hz 1080 is when it would better and pics I would take made me look black around the eyes and like a ai cartoon character my S23 plus purple is better I’ll update to S25 plus or S26 plus S24 plus only have small upgrades
I made my best move when I purchased my S24 Plus with Exynos... Simply the best option for me. 😅
Anyway, I’m from Europe, and that was the only variant.😊
Do you notice any issues with the Exynos variant? Am an iPhone guy but am planning on trying something new 24plus is exactly what I have in mind
@@saikiaustin I have absolutely no issues with my S24+ Exynos. I love it!
@@saikiaustinget the one with the snaps dragon. Exynos is not bad tho
just don't buy the exynos version
I'm still using OnePlus 5T😂
😂😂😂😂
Good to see the Holy Bible app on the home screen
The only reason i dont buy this is bcos it comes with exynos here. Samsung is unethical asf
one advantage for exynos is it seems to get software updates before snapdragon, at least with my s22 plus
TL;DV ‐ no regrets
Exynos 2400 and trash design ruined s24 plus
Not realy exynos 2400 is as as beast as 8gen3
@@lggr2261 I read it's 10-15% worse 🤔
