I used to test as INTJ in high school before I was treated for anxiety, and now I test as INTP. It's amazing how different they are, yet how accurate they both are to both stages of my life, respectively.
@@kristoftoth5999 I am pretty positive I am an ENTP tho. I know both types pretty ok and I am definitely the debater, not the thinker. I am talkative, really good at making fast random decisions, and work extremely well under stress, those are the things I believe INTPs struggle with (not sure about the stress one). These videos are made to make fun of stereotypes, retyping yourself based just on those might not give you the most accurate result and we both do have the exact same cognitive functions, just in a different order, that's why we can relate to each other a lot
@@kristoftoth5999 As an INTP, I use my Ne when interacting with the outside world, which means I can present as spontaneous or talkative to the outside, but I spend most of my time in my head, almost detached from my environment. I think ENTPs are more responsive to the environment. Even when they can be social introverts, they spend their time interacting with the environment and actualizing their ideas. (creating art, etc) I create things too but it's still pretty draining for me. My natural "alone" state is either immobile or pacing around trying to figure something out. "I have to go outside and interact with people, but not just any people-- stupid people." 😂😂 I often wish I was a more tolerant person, but... oh, my. This INTP cannot tolerate nincompoops, under any circumstances. For me, it is the mental equivalent of being waterboarded. Unfortunately, due to my profession and my role in that profession, I am perpetually bombarded by slews of simpletons. ¡Qué lástima!
I used to work reception in a hotel. People coming at me about everything. I made it a mission to prevent them from asking me questions . It worked pretty well
Gosh, I relate to this so much. Same about the tolerance part, too, but we just can't help it. Logic/common sense and precision are simply ingrained in our nature. If somebody deviates from that, it bothers us. This is why I'm choosing to not have kids, because kids just naturally embody what annoys us, and it wouldn't help them when I lose my patience every time they mess up. Also why couldn't cut it as a doctor, like my mother wanted me to be and trained me my entire life to become, not so much because intelligence is required (which is actually the easy part for me), but because of how people-oriented it is. Bedside manners do count. I used to work as a cashier at a food joint, and you wouldn't believe the idiotic, trivial requests/complaints people make about FOOD. My thought was that they wouldn't be whining so much if they were actually starving, so they had nothing to really complain about, and also, a lot of these outlandish things weren't even a part of the menu or sometimes not what they ordered. Their complaints directed at me about the prices, too, as if the cashier had anything to do with it, which I had to tell some customers a few times to take that up with the manager because the cashier does not set up the prices. The bosses, who didn't know how to manage anything, weren't any better, and several times I had to give them management suggestions, but got in trouble for "correcting" them, even though my suggestions actually worked and theirs didn't. But, alas, I wasn't put in charge, and that's life.
@@phatcat3705 - Interestingly, I decided against having children, as well. During my own childhood, children bothered me with their seemingly endless inanity and limited perspectives. I knew this made me a terrible candidate for parenthood and the discomfort with children being inerudite miniature humans has never dissipated. I also deal with the issue of others being upset that I don't hesitate to correct them when they're wrong. It's as though they'd rather be perceived as imbeciles, instead of learning. Honestly, sometimes I just shake my head at humans. They're silly in ways I'll never truly comprehend. 😆
See... that makes sense. But everytime I go into INTP group I just hate everyone... I had to infiltrate an INFP group to make sure I wasn't being crazy 😭😭😭
I think something people get wrong about INTPs is that we can actually be quite kind people. Would not want to scare children on Halloween (although INTJs might?). Also, INTPs usually like to consider many possibilities in a situation, but when we bring them up to other people they think we actually believe them. I’ve learned not to talk to other people about the many possibilities I see in a given situation, idea, etc.
@@phatcat3705 No...there are at least a few more of us out here. I'm an INFP woman who tends to present socially (I know, I know!) as an INTP and I have a strong appreciation for INTP quirkiness -- their humor, their intellect, their mindset, and their sarcasm.
Isfj here...I just wonder about people... alot. That's how I landed here in mbti-ville. Though its true when my partner talks bs i started daydreaming. Yep. My sister (INFJ) tends to talk to me about her relationship issues and ask about my opinion. Turns out she want to hear a "logical perspective". I mean sure, but pure reason can't solve heartbreak, honey. I need context.
As an INTP, I feel like someone is cutting my chest with knife when I have to deal with my own emotions. It's incredibly hard to accept and process what I feel. And often an left exhausted after that.
When i zone out and i realize someone was talking to me, i apologize and say "Sorry i was in my mind can you repeat?" they always repeat the sentence, except my brother he´s annoyed by it.
I love 3:33 because literally every quiz/test I take online, even if it's something stupid like "Which type of cheese are you?" has at least one question that starts like that, and I say this every time. A lot of MBTI tests in particular pose hypotheticals that just don't apply to me, making them doubly hypothetical. "At a party, you tend to stand off to the side as opposed to the center of the room." I don't go to parties. Even at every birthday party thrown for me by my family, I show up for five, ten minutes max before retreating back into my room. I remember one time taking a "Which ((title)) character are you most like?" which had a question that was something like, "One of your friends has betrayed you. How do you react?" I thought to myself, "Bold of you to assume I have friends," and I commented as much after I finished the quiz. This website shows your result alongside your comment, and someone replied to me, "That's such a ((my character result)) thing to say."

I have come to see him as an excellent training partner, and someone who can provide alternative perspectives and arguments where I never would have imagined a possibility before. I try to view him as a sparring partner, but one that will hold nothing back and go straight for the throat. I'm also a male INFJ.

INTPs usually create a fake personality to match each group of people and honestly that's how I communicate with others lmao

I am an ENTP and I relate to this 1000% more than the ENTP compilation
I'm INTP and I relate to the ENTP compilation! 😂
So, you are an INTP, like me, and I can relate to this. Not the ENTP. You should rethink your entire life, like I do in the bathtub every night.
However, a lot of INTP memes I can't relate to. I don't play video games cus my lack of Se doesn't give me a great reaction time. I don't do programming much because tbh it seems kinda tedious ._.

As an INTP with like 4000 hours on the sims, I feel personally attacked.
English Class really is like that. Any class really. Like, one time in Year 9 my class was doing a whole half term on Great Expectations (The Play Script and the Film Adaptation) and I didn't read a single chapter, or even watch the movie. Then we had to write 5 essays and a character study in a week and I somehow set a school record and scored the highest in the history of the district- wtf. Idek anymore
Similar for me, 1 time I had exams and i didnt practise and I ended up getting 1st place lol
"I have to go outside and interact with people, but not just any people-- stupid people." 😂😂
I often wish I was a more tolerant person, but...
I'm familiar with the verbal waterboarding. It hurts. Help. I can't do this. Help.
I guess the dynamite boomed a bit too hard

I think something people get wrong about INTPs is that we can actually be quite kind people. Would not want to scare children on Halloween (although INTJs might?). Also, INTPs usually like to consider many possibilities in a situation, but when we bring them up to other people they think we actually believe them. I’ve learned not to talk to other people about the many possibilities I see in a given situation, idea, etc.
I hear you. Even positing another idea to someone apparently calls for condemnation 🤣

Its not true that INTP doesnt like socializing, i just dont like talking with idiots and their feelings. I go to social events, mostly observing people wondering what makes them do this or that. Though its true when my partner talks bs i started daydreaming. I cant argue with the overplanned speech, its just mean that the speech and the peoples involved are important enough to be planned ahead. And dont get butthurt when i am being blunt, if i dont care about you rather than responding i would wiki some history facts that i wont ever use but somehow caught my interest for the rest of the day.

And often an left exhausted after that.
being kinda obsessive over games or new 'interesting' topics is so true omfg. also the messages like '...?' are so me...
This website shows your result alongside your comment, and someone replied to me, "That's such a ((my character result)) thing to say."
things I relate to:
-making Halloween set up with giant spider
- making a meme of cat with laser eyes...
- saying everyone is dumb
- "I love you." period. low-key communication sensitivity issues
- going out to hangout is dumb
- forgetting own age
- collar shirt fancy
- list of experiences to cover in less than an hour.
why I'm here: someone told me INTP want to get rid of their emotions.. I did too.
although I think this guy is too smart, tech savvy, and more logical than I am.

But it was his mom…
I agree. The reaction in the clip is probably closer to what the INFP would think (and I know because I'm an INFP and I've gone there)...
How did he described INTP that perfectly?
"I created a profile but forgot it existed, I guess I'll meet someone in real life, but I guess that would require me going out" - something i've said before
I've deduced this video is about an academic, millennial, nerdy, INTP, who really likes The Sims.

"Or at least have a fire extinguisher close by...Ah...Do whatever you want." I can't count the number of times I have gone through the "Do this, do this...Just do whatever you want" thing with people who work for me.
"Oh crap she's going off the script" nah our meticulous insight into social interactions makes it totally hard to say the right thing, so think of it like multiple interpretations of the scripts interwebbed and you get intp autism
