I LOVE watching the Harvard Law School Moot Court Competitions! From my perspective, it is as well as other programs is a training ground for some future trial lawyers. Not only that, but students have the opportunity to demonstrate their passion for the law. In fact, I believe practicing law is the best profession to resolve legal disputes. When I am a lawyer, I am going to use the law as a weapon, as an aid to serve people, and a tool to resolve problems within our communities because it is my dream career. Also, as I will always say, when it comes to handling a case, having the facts and admissible evidence that meet the requirements of the legal claim is a plus to resolve the issue! When I am a lawyer, that will be my main priority! And to be perfectly clear, I'd like to visit Harvard Law School! Your law school, as well as other law schools, have a lot of resources law students and the community needs to make a difference within our communities throughout the United States. Moreover, when the elements of the law are properly used to govern the facts of an issue, resolving that issue makes a big difference for the good of the communities. Even though I have a learning disability, it is my dream to be a lawyer! 😇
@sebatian Why do you say that? Points were very well-articulated, and any reader can feel Fabian's passion for the law and fervor to become the best lawyer he can be through these words.
I have the greatest respect for the Ames Moot Court Competition. It truly is the cream of the crop. As Gov Patrick aptly puts it, it truly is a strange blend of substance and performance art. Having mooted myself I couldn't agree more. The level of precision in the argument is near surgical, but at the same time has an elegance and grace to the way it is delivered.
I don't have a problem with competition but the American legal system is so bloody cut throught that it leaves such a gap between groups. So many are left behind that could make Americans prouder only that they didn't belong. If the law should be just, Americans must have faith that all humans are equal
I have been watching these and I wonder why, with Harvard charging so much, these competitions were and are not on film instead of video tape. The tapes look terrible from the 80s and today's videos will soon look terrible too.
I've become addicted to watching these brilliant students arguing in Ames Court. Just wait until the judge hears me in small claims court.
Lol. That dude that stole your earring is Gunna get 20 to life after you’ve had your say.
