Overall not to bad a review. I appreciate your efforts and was glad you demonstrated the noise and concentricity of the chuck, the fact it has a downstop was also well noted. If you do attach it to your bench try and bolt through very heavy rubber to further damp any vibrations.
I'm on the hunt for a drill press so good too see this video as I have looked ta lumberjack tools, bigger motor for me I think, good to see you back bud 👍
Ended up just ordering the titan with 700w motor should be here tomorrow, seemed to be the only one with a nice size motor for the price £185 delivered, was looking at the rutlands aswell for £120 with a 500w induction motor but just went for the larger 750w instead. Yea life seems to get in the way of the spare time stuck with the studies 👍
@@mattsdiy4595 I bought the 10” job site model and I’m very pleased with it. I found that the legs assembly had been put together incorrectly at the factory but it was easily rectified. My main gripe is that the power lead becomes extremely stiff when it gets cold something I will replace with better quality cable once it is out of warranty. I’ve made a crosscut sled and also my own mitre sled with guide strips on each side so I can cut from both mitre slots.
Great video Matt, in the market for one but I want a band saw aswell. I'll be using the band saw more, I'll probably spend more on the saw. Ps your video on the Dewalt saw help me choose a Dewalt, I've had it since March and it's been great. It punches well above its weight.
@@mattsdiy4595 Thanks Matt, my original idea was Triton drill 180sh Ryobi bandsaw 180sh total 360. But watching lots of videos, I think if I can get the lumberjack for under 100 I can push for the Record bs250 bandsaw £279 so that would be round about the £380 mark.
Nice review on this drill, I am considering buying one and emailed lumberjack about the type of pulley material , they replied that the pulley material was strong rubber . I thought that was strange and emailed a distributor of these drills and they said the same, so that has put me off buying one . Has anyone got any comments on this .
can anyone supply me with actual dimensions for the table please including the center thru hole and slots? Also what is the wall thickness of the 165 x 165 table? Thank you in advance.
well done young man!! So this model is 300W , would you say a 500W is good enough for trade?, your reply would be very appreciated :) thanks in advance
Looks similar to the parkside one that Lidl sell occasionally for £50 could you do a review on the bandsaw i am looking at buying one and can't decide on what one to buy keep the videos coming 👍
If that's what you believe! I think they are a great way to help content creators... if you are gonna buy it why not use a link to give back to someone who helped you!
Matts DIY nothing wrong with that mate, it can just appear a little disingenuous to say your not sponsored by them leaving the impression your review is impartial but then at the same time leaving a affiliate link that you will make money off. It’s hard to believe you will get a genuine review warts and all if you profit from any sales. Seem like a cool guy and all and I’m sure you are not out to con anyone all the best!
@@LONDONBIZZLE completely get what you are saying !! I agree sometimes people can seem very disingenuous and clearly don't have an interest in the products they are pushing ! Hope you can enjoy some of my other content ! All the best!
So many of these entry level pillars look the same, so was really great to see this in action. Thanks for making this video, really helpful.
Thanks for the comment !!
Thank you so much for your efforts and sharing - I'm after one of these and I truly appreciate your review
Good review! Just ordered one of these. I was impressed by the lack of noise.
Nice video and have to say it has encouraged me to get one tomorrow. Thanks very much my friend.

Thank you 👍👍
I bought a "Clarke" pillar drill, but I did buy the Lumberjack brand Table saw. Been very impressed with too.
Their products so far have been amazing and at the best prices! I'd love to see what their table saw is like!

Would this be good to create a 5mm wide hope, through 1.5mm thich stainless steel, aluminium? Thank you
Would you say this drill would be good enough for drilling in metal? Pieces no thicker than 5mm or more wood work?
Good Review

Great review! Would this be able to drill a 3.5 inch hole that has a diameter of 20mm? Thanks
I imagine it could !! Ive never drilled anything like that with it but it should do it just fine !
