I don't know what is the reason to toast the flour, but the recipe turned out tasty. My hand was melthing the dough so i popped it in the fridge for 5 mins and it's good to shape it using baking paper. I would recommend this recipe. Thank you
I made these today, and Mashallah they were perfect. I didnt add vanilla because I dont have it but it was perfect. Jazakallah for sharing this recipe !
Ive missed this so much from my time residing in Istanbul! I just baked a batch now from your recipe! Thank you! I would use 1.5 cups of almonds next time I make them!
Zahra Everything is measured in cups and tablespoons then you have 180 grams of butter. Can that be translated to cups please? OK I did it...that's .79 cups. So about 80% of a cup of flour. A little more than 12 1/2 tablespoons. Well for the butter, I would use 3/4 cup plus 1/2 tablespoon butter. Figured like this.... 115 grams for a half cup, and 58 grams for a quarter cup, and 7 grams for a half tablespoon. butter. Just don't overdo the butter, or the cookies will spread from too much fat.
That’s a very clever and helpful way to get the crescent shape! Thank you for this tip.
THIS IS AMAZINGLY GOOD!!! i would love to try this! ❤
