High flow, fabricated aluminum intake pipe and air box enclosure with dry filter assembly replace the restrictive plastic factory parts on the 2020-2022 L5P Duramax for improved engine performance. Increases airflow to turbo, producing improved horsepower and torque, quicker throttle response, and cooler intake temperatures by drawing cold air through the hood Ram Air duct and inner fender. All aluminum construction features large diameter 4" piping with smooth aerodynamic bends to improve intake air velocity and volume and provide more aggressive engine and turbo sound during acceleration. Full assembly is finished in your choice of WCFab's signature custom powder coat colors for a look as unique as your truck.

Will it throw a check engine light in the 2024's?

@@McBurner007 we did not experience a check engine light during any of our R&D testing on the 2024 trucks. We also have one installed on our ‘24 shop truck currently for long term testing and many customers with 24’s running this product without issue. If you are considering our intake kit, we would suggest that you do familiarize yourself with the air filter life reminder message disable function on the 2020+ trucks (details in the instruction document link below) or that will create a message on your DIC and is the most common thing that customers miss during the install for these trucks:

Can you hear the turbo any better with this?

Our intake assembly is fabricated from aluminum and eliminates the OEM intake resonator designed to silence the intake tract, so you will experience more aggressive turbo compressor sound under throttle with our product than you would with the factory setup.

Bring the Y bridge back for lml

New LML parts are in development currently. We expect to have passenger / cold side intercooler pipes back out before the end of the year. Bridges will follow after that due to the longer development times associated with the casting process. High flow bundles for the LML will release once all individual parts for the kits are available.
