Wow Susan that really is some stuff, you've enough Christmas decorations to dec out the whole street. 🌟🌟🌟 Great job getting organised, it feels great when you get stuff done. Thank you for sharing. bfn. 🐞🌻🌱
Hi Jane, you are probably right, believe it not I got rid of a lot of old worn garland and wreaths. Anything I don’t use this year is definitely going to be donated. I am in the first to admit I have a Christmas decor addiction. I blame it on the stores, they keep coming out with cute stuff each year and I am weak! Thanks so much for watching, hope to see you next time.
Hi Madeline, I think we all have spaces that need a little organization. I hope as I unpack Christmas decor I might be able to eliminate some more totes…..wait, who am I kidding! Thanks for stopping by!
That’s a lot of work! We are moving and I decided to transfer all my decor into Costco bins and went through every single decoration and decluttered and organized. It was so much work but so satisfying on the flip side!
Hey Suzi, I know it must have been a lot of work. I am going to donate any Christmas decor I don’t use this year in our new home. I just didn’t want to get rid until I see what I may use. Thanks so much for watching!
Hi Diana, My son said the same thing. He also said I better get rid of the “mess” before I die because he was going dump everything in a dumpster! Kids, they just don’t have any sentimental feelings! Thanks for stopping by!
Your intro music - when you showed the boxes made me laugh. 😆 You did a fabulous job, Susan! Your space looks pretty good, you should see my garage! 😩 You’ve inspired me today! I like your gallery wall, your home looks beautiful. TFS, xoxo ❤️🍁🍂🐿️🍃🌻☀️
Liz, thank you so much! I hope after I decorate for Christmas I can get rid of more stuff….wait….you know I won’t! I have already bought some cool stuff from Walmart, a new tree for the great room, a new tree for the porch and the small My Texas Home tree. It is an addiction! Good luck with your garage, who said you need to park your car in there!
I think you did a very good job Susan! Right now I'm finishing up my hurricane prep. Milton will hit Wednesday afternoon through Thursday afternoon. It's going to be a bad one. I'm just praying for no damage to my house or to me. I trust the Lord to take care of me and I have faith that He will. I was going to move over to the middle part of the state and get off the east coast of Florida but they're going to get it worse than me this time because it's coming up from the Gulf of Mexico. I'll probably move over there some time in the future. They don't usually get it as bad but these storms coming up through the Caribbean into the Gulf are something fairly new. It's because all of that water is so hot. Please pray for me and I'm glad you were able to get something done!
Hi Susan! You are doing great! Moving is so much work! I think another shelf will help. Could you pick up inexpensive Dollar Tree wreath hangers and hang them over the insulation wall wood or from the beams to store your wreaths? Just an idea!
Whew, I know what you mean Karen, it was hot the day I tackled the storage room but it was just getting on my nerves so I took the plunge but there’s more work to do! Good luck with your garage.
Im a subbie of yours Susan, but i dont usually comment...todays video is a fantastic inspiration for others that may need a little encouragement,so thank you so much.We all go through times when organizing may need to be done.Have a wonderful day and God bless you and your family❤😊
Hi Tracey, thank you so much for stopping by and subscribing! I hope I am able to motivate others because I really needed a kick in the pants to get into that room and make sense of the mess. I hope you stop by again!
Great intro … loved the music and then the spooky music looking into the storage room made me laugh 🤣 . I was getting flash backs😳 looking at all those boxes 📦 l don’t think that you would be unhappy with more shelves . I feel like you can never have enough shelves . I am terrible at organizing ( it’s an ADHD thing , but l am a very good cheerleader!) 📣 l love your upstairs den area and the wall of travel photos . The photos looked very professional. Did you or Dan take them ? I am getting my new chairs delivered tomorrow with all the rain expected 😱but the store is in a flood zone , l am happy to get it out of there. We are having some neighbors over for drinks and Rumikub ( they have hurricane shutters and she said it’s awful like being in a box , hearing the storm , but not being able to look out , We can break them in . Sending my best to you all . Hope your mother has gotten use to her new place. Blessings, Deb
Hey Deb, I have really been watching the weather to see if you are going to get hit, I pray you stay safe. I have a friend in Reddington Beach, she lost everything in her house with Helene. I hope she fairs better this week. I definitely need at least one more set of shelves, I will get them when I pull the Christmas stuff out. So glad you are getting those chairs (thanks Ed). Something is happening to our men, Dan bought me a piece of furniture to place under the kitchen windows. It had to be ordered so I hope it is here in time to decorate for Christmas. Good luck with the storm and enjoy your new chairs.
Oh , l hope that you get the new furniture bf Christmas! Nothing like a new surface to decorate!!! I feel so badly for your friend . I can’t imagine losing everything. One of the woman l worked with retired and moved to Asheville, there is a rumor that she lost her house it was right off of one of the washed out roads . I hope that is wrong . My friend tried to call her but couldn’t reach her. It’s really scary . Stay well and let’s pray that this is the last Hurricane of the season .
I was worried about you with all the storms........so glad all is well with you!You and your commentors are making me feel better! My garage is full of bins for holidays. 3 for winter........2 for St Pats......4 for Easter.......5 for Halloween and Fall and oh yes.....7 for Christmas! Help!I even hire someone to help me organize it last month but didnt really help much.Mine looks a bit better because i got rid of all boxes and had cubbards built with plastic bins on the outside.
Let’s face it Nancy I think we have a problem but the stuff makes us happy!!😃 We are in S E VA so we have not been affected by the hurricanes but it is so sad to see all the devastation. Thanks for stopping by.
This was a monumental task Susan. You made so much progress and I have no doubt you will keep working on it until it is just the way you want it. Question. Would you be able to put nails in the tall wooden studs/2x4's to hang wreaths on? Seems they would be easier to reach than overhead.
I admire you and those that are organizing . Not wanting to climb into the attic has left me with stuff lots of places. Maybe your efforts will motivate me! Was the shelving from Lowe's? It looks sturdy. How's your friend Shelly?
Yes the shelving was from Lowe’s. Shelly is doing fine and we continue to run the roads together. I have only been down to the beach with once this Summer. With moving and having to help with my Mom, beach travels have suffered! Thanks for watching and good with any attempts to organize!!!
Susan I enjoy watching your videos and your decorating taste. However, your excess has encouraged me to stop buying more stuff for the holidays. Enough is enough for myself.
Thanks, I am hoping to purge a lot of stuff that I don’t use this year in our new house. I have to confess I have bought some stuff from Walmart for Christmas so I guess I have a weakness for Christmas!!!
Have a wonderful day Susan . ❤❤❤❤
Thanks, you too!!
Susan, you've done a very good work. You should be very proud. Blessings.❤
Thank you so much!

Great motivation. Thank you
I am so glad the video is motivational! Thank you so much for watching.
Susan - you did a good job! Love your vacation photos!
Thanks, I enjoy looking at them and remembering the fun adventures. Thanks for watching.
Wow, Susan, you certainly did make a dent! More than half my garage is filled with Christmas decorations and someday I hope to get organized too.
Hi Madeline, I think we all have spaces that need a little organization. I hope as I unpack Christmas decor I might be able to eliminate some more totes…..wait, who am I kidding! Thanks for stopping by!
Looking good, Susan. Feels so good to be making progress.
Yes it does but it still needs some work. Great talking to you today!
Great job Susan
Thanks Kathy🍁
Great job 😊
Thanks for the visit
Love this style of video ❤❤❤
Thanks so much Bonnie!
I organized all Summer long. It was fantastic!
It is a great feeling isn’t it!
Absolutely
That’s a lot of work! We are moving and I decided to transfer all my decor into Costco bins and went through every single decoration and decluttered and organized. It was so much work but so satisfying on the flip side!

All your hard work paid off it looks really nice
Thank you!
You have as many Christmss totes as I do. My daughter in law said "woman you are crazy." 😂
Hi Diana, My son said the same thing. He also said I better get rid of the “mess” before I die because he was going dump everything in a dumpster! Kids, they just don’t have any sentimental feelings! Thanks for stopping by!

Oh Kathleen I will definitely be praying for you!🙏 Please stay safe….may God keep you and your fellow Floridians out of harms way.
Always nice to have a dedicated space for our decorations and looks like you have the perfect spot! Kudos, you did a great job!
Thanks so much Carmen, it is a work in progress!

Barbara, that is a wonderful idea!!! I think that might work out great. Thanks for watching and for the great suggestion!
That's also what I was going to suggest. You've done a great job Susan.
That was quite the task! Our garage is terrible. We are going to try and work on it this Fall. It’s just been too hot this summer.
Whew, I know what you mean Karen, it was hot the day I tackled the storage room but it was just getting on my nerves so I took the plunge but there’s more work to do! Good luck with your garage.
