Thrift stores have gotten completely out of control with their pricing. I have a few near me that like to price gouge. It makes me mad because 1) the items are donated and 2) most people shop at thrift stores because they can’t afford retail prices. Now they can’t afford thrift store prices!

Agree! We have a really great one that you can always get 50% off if you sign up for their texts. I’ve been able to get a huge bag of clothes for like $13! Unfortunately it’s about 25 min from our house. We make a trip about 2-3 times a year.

Every time you pointed out items in the thrift store cheaper at Walmart - that's so me when I go to thrift stores now. They've gotten so expensive! Love your channel. Your humor and positive attitude are infectious. We need more Brookes in this world for sure.

If you add baking soda to that acrylic, it will cover most anything in 1 coat.... possibly 2 depending on what you are painting. You can add the baking soda or plaster of Paris to any paint and it will turn it into chalk paint which covers everything and sticks very well... Great video 💗

Hey I taught a craft class & I put "NOEL" on 1 side & "HOME" on the opposite side. I just used christmas scrapbook paper glued on behind the NOEL. It saves on decorating at Christmas time. ❤ Y'all!! More crock pot & 1 sheet recipes PLEASE!! ❤❤❤
