1/4th of my enjoyment of this show is the relationship you guys have. It reminds me of my relationship with my gaming friends.
For me is 3/4, aren't we all jealous to be reminded of this kind of friendship?
Oh trust me, I LOVE their relationships, but the reviews themselves are so good, and then the corny bits also great, and then as a lifelong videographer the actively low quality of the whole thing is special to me too. I regularly think about how special this show is to me and how I'd be devastated if it went away. I was so worried and bummed when Paul moved away, it was embarrassing.
Bichael is the name of my pet mouse. Bike + Michael = Bichael
Fun fact: mice usually weigh anywhere from 30-45 grams. Bichael weighs 90. We had to put the absolute unit on a diet.
SUSD was totally right: now that I've seen this game played, I went from being interested to this being one of the top games on my list
Brilliant video. Production was fine Matt. Silences just totally normal and welcome as a contrast to the complete exasperated dialogue in the next 5 minutes.
Great start. Looking forward to more. Reminded me of the brilliant chaos of the Space Cadets play through.

This may be my next purchase. I've been watching a PBF game on the SU&SD forums for a while, and it had me on the edge of my seat. For a PBF game! That's bonkers!
Hate to be *that guy* but the rules for breakaway are:

When I played this game for the first time I got to the end and thought, I’d like to play it again right now. Maybe it’s that it’s pretty short, but I’ve never had that experience with a board game before.

It was just a short story. The inventor of wine was a satanist who *also* had a chair, that shook you until you pooed.
This was great to watch live! Highly recommend it to people if you get the chance to watch their streams.
I managed to get Flamme Rouge yesterday for just £5. I guess the game didn't sell because people look at the box and go "well, that's boring"
Raccoons occasionally live in a tree just outside our apartment. We could reach out and pet them if the screen wasn't on the window. I can say with confidence that they smell like any other wild animal; no more or less. Which is to say... yeah, you kinda notice their smell when you get near the window. Sometimes they've just come up from the storm drains and they have a wreak to them, but it's not like skunks which you can smell across the street. (BTW I know this is from four years ago but I'm just now watching it... Shut up!

I watched this when it was on the Twitch VOD but I'm here to say I really enjoyed this.
Even as much as I love you guys, I had to stop following you because I wasn't getting the chance to play enough to justify following a site/podcast/etc that was mostly just about buying and playing new games. Like, what's the point watching something that just makes me want to buy new stuff when my copy of Puerto Rico from 2010 has never been played?
So I'd love it if you guys went in this direction more because it's a way to interact with your very special angle on the hobby without it being restricted to conversations about whether I should buy or play something I'd almost never get the chance to buy or play.

I have played the base game and own, but have yet to play, the Peloton expansion. I saw Paul's issue with not slipstreaming on the cobbles and thought, that can't be right!! Surely his roller can still slip stream as he is on smooth rode and slipstreaming for him should be a matter of wind resistance and the blocking forward rider. Then I remembered Matt's explanation that physics doesn't work on the cobbles. Of course, it all makes perfect sense now...
Great job with the setup for the stream. The game was really easy to understand even if you've not played it and the board and components were easy to see.
As an advice maybe a close up for certain cards or components could be useful for future games with too many details.
To coin a phrase: exercisetential crisis - When you have barely begun exercising and feel an insurmountable sense of dread.

Raccoons are very bright sociable animals. They don't actually smell too bad - nothing compared to ferrets. I brought up an orphaned little raccoon many years ago and it was not stinky at all. They would probably not like this game though although the pieces do look nice and chewy.

For future reference, it’d be awesome if you could add a “hands” camera(s) that allows us viewers to see what cards you people are picking from. Just something for us to do while you think, and a way for us to join in the game with a “what would I do” flair. Still, amazing work.

I know you'll be disappointed in me, but I can't say this game interests me (I'm guessing a re-theme would help. Yes. You can judge me) but I love watching ya'll no matter what you're doing, so bring it on!
