I've been using air dry clay to start with but almost all the other creators I watch use polymer. It looks so smooth and fun to work with. I'm gonna have to give it a try and see how it compares! I've also been considering whether to paint over white clay or use colored. Right now I've been painting with gouache, but I'm curious about the process of working with colored clay - whether its a time saver, easy to get the right shade, etc. 🌷 It's interesting how many different processes people use. :)
Using coloured polymer has its advantages as well as its cons. Plus side:nice smooth colour block effects, resilient when baked, reworkable until desired final project when uncooked, can be left out till ready as long you put in container to avoid dust to stick, cleanable and smooth able with a bit of rubbing alcohol on a q tip as quick fix. Cons: can be hard to condition at the beginning of the handling, colour contamination so have to be super meticulous when handling projects colour block style, either use gloves and pre plan,be ready to smooth out finger prints. Al rounds it is very satisfying and enjoyable, fun and creative. I love to sculpt with both polymer and air dry and painting has its quirky charm. Thank you again for answering my question earlier 🤗✨❣️
Absolutely love these 💞 However I think your shop listing is a little misleading calling these “ceramic”, since polymer clay is not ceramic 🙏 but very cute 🥰
I love the idea of making chopsticks rest from clay, but just wondering, people say uv resin is not safe for food using. Is there something else we can use as a coat for our clay?
@@ItsVesperArt by any chance ,would you happen to know the brand as it looks much softer and bouncier than Sculptey,Fymo etc… Thanks for answering, much appreciated ✨❣️
his I just started my small business and I wanted to know any tips for my shop. also where is the tile form, th some you're making the clay pieces on. ive searched evryehwere and can't find any
To work safely with UV resin, you must use a gas mask with organic vapor filters, preferably from a reputable brand like 3M. KN95 masks do not provide protection against the vapors released by the resin, making them ineffective for this purpose and remember Always work in an open, well-ventilated space to minimize exposure to harmful fumes. Gloves are essential to prevent the resin from being absorbed through the skin and mucous membranes. Additionally, you should wear protective goggles that fully cover your eyes. These precautions are especially important if you frequently use resins like UV or polymeric types. As an art restorer, I emphasize that protecting yourself from these toxic materials is critical for your health.

How do you clean your brushes after you use them for applying resin?
I’ve read other comments saying to immediately clean them with acetone or something else (sorry can’t remember lol)
@@EmoKidsGetCrunk Thank youu! 😊

did you bake those?
Yes!! I baked them for around 30 min at 275 farenheit!
@@bluecitrus4501 thank you!
Can you told me the name for this plate? 0:21 🤗♥️
Is this food safe? :0
Polymer clay isn’t food safe :)
I don’t think resin is food safe…? I thought it was really toxic. Super cute but I wouldn’t use that for something I’m putting in my mouth
Ahhh so cute and the video is so well done! 🥹🥹🥹 is it alright to ask what tools you use when sculpting?
