OCG player here, About Gimmick Puppet.... It is scary to deal with it if they got the field spell up also with its new support the ftk is pretty damn consistent
Post INFO will be a clown fiesta at first and might settle after 2-3 weeks of experimenting... White wood is interesting, dragon link having indirect supporters thru manga LLDs and tachyon, fiend link will be a solid deck now thanks to fiendsmith, centurion and memento having a small boost

My buddy was saying the same thing he was like u have a 42 card deck. I want 40 thanks to the banlist it's now 40.
I mean… I don’t think this is going to change much. Sure finding 5 copies instead of 6 diabelle and not always having 3 copies of ash. But this deck still has tons of ways to find these cards. Just a little tiny bit less consistent

@@adanganaafan2811 so funny enough I actually made a post on my IG page way before dkayed made his video stating that jet synchron and one for one should be banned and I still stand by it. Those cards are to easy and generic for snake eyes and now many many decks to take advantage of.

Cool my 2 Ashes fits to it. Snake Eyes in the triangle event with XYZ is like a stun deck. Negate attacks, reflection damage with lion, stealing in Battle Phase with utopia and Zeusing. With the trap and spell you stun their Bosses into the zone. If i would have more than Poplar and Ash there, it still be good enough for that. xD

Man I'm new and I've been usimg my resources to get craft a snake eyes deck little by little and when I saw the title got a little scared ngl. Thanfully not much of a hit... The deck is a volcanic emperor variation of snake eyes what cards can be good replacements for these two?
This meta is Branded turning to Snake Eyes, Swordsoul to Purrely, and Tri-brigade to Rescue-Ace
We must remember Konami loves small consistency hits until they've had enough and they just ban some thing crazy from a deck like snake eyes. Too bad it's months aways if it will happen.
This! Master Duel has monthly banlists so they will never go heavy on the first few hits, they will hit the meta decks slowly over time, they don't need to go hard in 1 list and straight up kill the deck.
Imagine spending 10-20k gems on a new deck, 2 months later konami kills the deck and u can't play it anymore, people will riot, the ones that are complaining about banlists like this are the vocal minorities as always.
@@funnyvalentine2786so with that logic everyone with rogue or tier 2 decks can go f themselves since snake eyes is everywhere and an instant win, that doesn't make any sens since some rogue decks can cost up to 50k gems !

@@fallencloser5028 You can't balance every deck to the same level, if you kill Snake-eye now Purrely and R-ace will be the next best decks, if you kill those decks too guess what? Branded, Tearlament, and Labrynth are back on the menu. Rogue tier decks can never compete with tier 1 decks without crazy support. It's your choice to handicap yourself and play a bad deck. So I suggest you play an actual good deck if you want to play the game competitively or to have a better win chance because crying about it solves nothing, you'll do the same thing again and again and again to the next best deck and the deck after that.
@@funnyvalentine2786 and yet with purley and r-ace at the top other strategys have their place as well instead of being insta losses against snake-eyes, what I want is killing the deck enough so other metas emerge and not like the YCS with more then 30% of snake-eyes deck !

Hi, newbie here. I have been slowly building up my snake eye deck when this banlist hit. Should I dismantle 1 of my snake eye ash and 1 wanted due to this? Or should I keep them in case it gets unbanned? I want to use the UR to print the other cards though.
Dismantle them, but NOT NOW, only when this new ban list is in effect, so you get 30 CP back for each card dismantled (instead of 10).
Wait until the banlist hits at the end of the month, you won't get a full refund until then. Once it kicks in, you get 30 points for scrapping something in the list, and if you have to re- craft it later then you're just re- spending the points you originally put into it and got back.

I think 💭 doing new card reveals is definitely a good look, it’ll help us see what’s coming over the horizon for new and older decks 👍.
It would be good if they add like a playlist with the banlist before it gets implemented and see the data on the decks so they can see what else can be done.
Purrely is just popular right now with its addition so it’s being played again. It’s going to drop back into tier 3 with no changes actually happening to the deck either by losing popularity or people teching kaijus or herald the the abyss back in.
Even if they limit those cards, it just opens space for more hantraps or even some floodgates
Expecting in 2 months semi or limiting Bonfire and wishing a hit to poplar but for now only a tiny bit of less consistency but thats something.... I guess

Honestly, I would hope that Baronne and Savage eventually get banned in MD. However, it would be pleasant if Apollusa got hit in the future. Of course, this may not be the case because of the alt art being a thing, so the opportunity to release perpetual Anniversary “content” will not go off the table.

@@zekiel2533 You are going to need to elaborate on what that means, or at least, what you are trying to imply with your statement. Sure, a lot of decks are played in MD, but how does this conflict with banning two omni-negates and a once per chain monster negate? Are you saying that too many decks play these cards to the point to where they cannot be banned? By this logic, something must be considered, which is a difference between Baronne, Savage, and Apollusa being plastered into a deck and these cards actually being played in a decks respective strategy. In this case, I could literally put Baronne in Vanquish Soul. However, it never comes up, since I would not use my normal summon for Ash Blossom to synchro off a Heavy Borger since attributes are the focus of the strategy.
imperial order got banned not too long after it received an animation, so apollousa getting banned even with an alt art might still happen
No one can make apolousa consistently and even in ocg format they see less play
So I think alt or not it doesn't matter, it's different with baronne, borreload is another card caught in the fire because every card now have a +1 advantage for every face up card

Ash and Wanted could be limited and I don't think it hurt snake-eyes too much

With Snash limited, I can finally banish Snash without seeing oak, and not worry about the 3rd copy of Snash. But the Wanted limit dose help give Snake-Eyes less extension (with its last effect).
As someone who's been playing cyber dragon again and doing fantastic against the meta I'm excited to play more rescue ace lmmfao

First deck I used was swordsoul before the free friend pack
And I feel like the main difference is playing something fun vs meta is narrowing
But if your looking for a deck that smacks rescue ace and snake eyes take a look at tenryi swordsoul or even tearlament

Snake eyes was super consistent before bonfire landed.
Bonfire made the deck really tight, so this doesn’t feel bad at all. Will just add either 2 hand traps, a magicians souls/birch as extenders or maybe 2 more board breakers.
I don’t mind it tbf.
as i said and thought the extra decks in master duel would be safe lol altho a hit is a hit i guess instead of piercer getting limited i would have prefered flameberge been there limited to 2 or even 1 but this is only a small consistant hit for snake eyes and thats about it they got so much cards that can get those limited cards still anyway they will still be a power house in deck im sure in the future this deck will be hit more for sure i guess free 30 UR for me il save it for that new salamangrate card that will eventuanly come to md so i can add it to my r-ace deck
I think it's very interesting that Flamberge went untouched considering Semi-Limit Ash does nothing, but if they wanted to really ruin their gameplay while not Limiting Ash, they could limit Flamberge to put hard pressure on Called By usage as well as Shifter or Macro Cosmos. I think these hits did generally nothing. Soulpiercer to 1 is a decent hit, however I think the proper hit would be what TCG did with Scarecrow ban.
if flamberge went to 1, people will maindeck dd crow purely to banish it off of the oak, which honestly, would be really funny
but shifter and macro deserved to be banned
@@choco699 I personally have the thought process where I will happily trade Shifter ban for a Snake Eye hit that kills the deck for good. Until then I think Shifter is a necessary evil, especially since Lab and Branded are still topping often as well.
The idea is to weaken the deck not kill it. Ocg did the right thing as you can see cuz they only limited soulpiercer and the deck went rouge status.

as someone who plays SS because its a fun attack in defense position strat its sad to see konami bans archtype and not the actual toxic card
I play only 2Ash in my Sinful Rescue ACE deck. Seeker to one just allows me room to add one for one or another lv1 fire tuner. This does nothing.
Finally they touch Snake Eyes,it's not big but it's good they start beating it up
It's also interesting when you look at the decisions Konami made, when it comes to cards and their limitations on a banlist... I see definitely a constant pattern here, Linkuriboh is banned in TCG for example, but not in master duel!! Really interesting 🤔 I don't care too much, because I only play one SE Ash in my Purrely Ghostrick Snake-Eyes deck

We have 3 bonfire and full rescue ace think were fine
Say what you want about the TCG banlist, but it feels so good to not have to worr about Baronne/Savage(/Summon Limit) when going second, or the infamous S:P + Baronne combo. I love it.
Also it was kinda obvious that snake eyes wouldn't have been hit (nuked) immediately, since the trend is to leave 6 months at least (for expensive decks at least) like Kash or Tear where they hit just the cards around them.
Also TCG changes did next to nothing to hurt SE. Banning Barrone and Savage ironically hurt other weaker decks more and SE was never over reliant on Linkuriboh for its lines.
