Hello Ashley, I am working my way through your Beauty Biographies, and enjoying every one. This one got me good, I'm 64, so I feel like I've been through Ingrid's journey having had her as a mainstay since an early age. You had me in tears at the end, but I remain happy in what Ingrid was able to achieve amidst all her very human difficulties. This was lovely, totally a most enjoyable way to spend time!
Hi Yvonne! I’m so happy to hear that you are enjoying Beauty Biography! 🥰 I love researching and creating these videos - these women are all so amazing - so it truly warms my heart that others find them enjoyable to watch. Thank you for sharing your kind words with me! ❤️
Thank you so much for this great tribute to Ingrid Bergman. Your love, admiration, for these ‘Actresses’ shows. Your presentations are ‘Eye opening’, captivating. Thank you so much for sharing your depth of knowledge. 💕🤔👍👏
What an intriguing story! You can definitely realize how the trauma of her early years affected her relationships later on in life. Her reality was based on “fantasy” yet became one of the all time leading ladies.
Wow, how much loss she had! You definitely can sympathize with why she chose and immersed herself in acting. You do such a wonderful job with these stories Ashley. Can't wait to see your next one! 😘💜
I was lucky enough to see Ingrid Bergman in real life on stage In Captain Brassbound's Conversion in London in the very very early 70's. She had an amazing presence on stage, playing opposite Kenneth Williams (a British comedian/comic personality/actor). What an incredible combination! Two talents sorely missed. PS You have a fantastic channel. I've only just picked it up. Your research and delivery are perfect. Your make up stunning in each episode. It feels very personal and like being way back in time - just getting ready for an evening out with your best friend who's chatting to you giving you the gossip on a favourite star!
Ashley thank you for this bio. Really interesting as are the others I’ve seen that you have done. These women have very interesting lives and you bring them to life!
Really enjoyed that look through Ingrid Bergman's life, thank you. Casablanca remains my very favourite film. Have you thought about Audrey Hepburn ... another life filled with adversity as a young person.
This was absolutely wonderful Ashley! You know you look at these stars and think they have it easy, that everything comes up roses, but there are many thrones thrown into their path. She suffered many difficulties yet she stuck to her beliefs and would not waiver for acceptance by others. Imagine having the guts to not bow down to Hollywood directors wanting to change her. I need more Virgo in me!!! What an amazing, accomplished actress with many accolades to leave behind to her children! Well done Ashley, you really know your facts and I know it comes from great research! Thank you!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hi Maureen! 🥰 Thank you so much for your kind words! I try to be very diligent about the research and I definitely feel that I'm getting better at it with each episode so it just means the world to me to get positive feedback! 🥰 You're so right too - this series is a great reminder that everyone is human, even the stars among us! I myself wish I had a little more Virgo in me too LOL! My youngest brother is one and I swear he has always been so sure of himself even as a very young man, definitely one of my favorite sun signs!
Hello Ashley! I stumbled upon your quote while looking for my favorite actress, Ingrid Bergman. I enjoyed your video. My English is not excellent because I am French, but I can understand a little. In one detail, Ingrid had two twin brothers who died seven years before she was born. She did not know them, which is why she always thought that she was an only child in a family, half sectarian (her mother's side, from the upper bourgeoisie), half fantasy (from her father's side). Another point, her first husband, was a sectarian man who tried to belittle her by using his psychology that does much more than a slap in the face. Her first husband abused her and her beauty. It was thanks to Ingrid that Peter Lindstrom obtained his neurosurgeon's degree with his wife's money. Selznick, as well as many of Ingrid's American friends, intervened several times to protect Ingrid from her husband so as not to use his artifices against her. Otherwise, thank you for research work on Ingrid. I encourage you to continue your wonderful work on the lives of the stars.
Thank you Tiffany! 🥰 The lip brush is the Sephora Pro Collection #85 - bit.ly/3pUx3q8 - I just added it to the description box as well. I love using a lip brush when I want a super diffused more natural looking lip!
Always look forward to this series and finding out facts abt people I've never heard of, or finding out more abt people I'm familiar with. I love the beautiful look u created
Thank you Marlene! 🥰 Most of her films are available on Amazon Prime but have to be rented. I think the only one that is free is Stromboli LOL I wish that streaming services would buy more rights to these old films because they are such classics and at this point I watch more old movies than new! If you're going to spend the money on Amazon to rent any of her movies I would go with Gaslight, it is flawless! Or if you have HBO Max they do have Casablanca and Murder on the Orient Express.
Oh my so difficult to choose! But! I would say the caviar sticks because 1) color selection! There is a caviar stick in every color! And 2) I have had less creasing after long wear with the caviar sticks than the CT cream shadows. I think that the CT cream shadow in oyster Pearl is so gorgeous and worth picking up but it’s the only one of the CT cream shadows I reach for regularly out of 5 that I own.
Great minds think alike Carolyn! 😁 Veronica Lake and Lauren Bacall are 2 of my favorite beauties!!! And Katherine - she's just a league of her own isn't she?
Thank you Shila! 🥰 It seems Ingrid and her children ended on pretty good terms considering everything but it really was a shame she was so often separated from them!
the era she lived in was very difficult for women and marriage, not to mention the political climate of the time... I don;t understand judgement either, I suppose it is like this ,judging other only makes you look judgmental and a shallow, catty person...I suppose it makes them feel better to pick apart others flaws...
WISH..I HAD GOTTEN TO SEE, GASLIGHT ....WHEN I WAS MARRIED!! MAYBE...it would have SNAPPED ME OUT... Of WHAT MY HUSBAND WAS DOING. The term "GASLIGHTING", was a term only used when talking about having to hand light our gas cook stove on the farm(which TERRIFIED ME) . But otherwise it was NOT a term used, so ashamedly I DIDN'T KNOW There was Any Other term for what my (EX) Husband was doing to me....OTHER THAN JUST BEING....AN ABUSIVE JERK!! 😢
IT is pronounced Inter-METZ-O, NOT Inter-Mezzo...you need to get. pronunciations right bc mispronouncing names and titles is highly disrespectful and lazy.
You really are as elegant as these beautiful ladies you speak about 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Thank you so much Kristy! This comment brought a huge smile to my face! 🥰 Have a great weekend!

Thank you for watching Cee Cee! 🥰 She was an incredible actress, it's definitely the silver lining of a quite lonely childhood!

Thank you so much Lisa! I’m so happy to hear that 🥰 have a great weekend!
I LOVE THIS LEWK. Obsessed and your hair is adorbs!
Thank you my lovely friend! 🥰

Thank you so much Geri! Your kind words mean so much to me! 🥰
You’re my new favorite, Ashley! Will you consider featuring Jayne Mansfield and Dolly Parton? Ty!
This is a really good incredibly well made tribute to Ingrid Bergman!!

Your research and humor are the best. Your beauty applications are stunning! Thanks

Hi - such a good video again! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching Carole! 🥰
Really enjoyed that look through Ingrid Bergman's life, thank you. Casablanca remains my very favourite film.
Have you thought about Audrey Hepburn ... another life filled with adversity as a young person.
Thank you! 🥰 Casablanca will always be a classic - they don't make them that way anymore! I will definitely talk about Audrey one day 🥰
And Love Anastasia! Great Movie!

Would enjoy seeing Janet Leigh & Tippi Hedren
Really excited to do Janet one day (soon I hope) I don't know much about Tippi but that will be fun for me because it's always exciting to learn! 🥰
I loved this biography. She was such a beautiful woman but her backstory is remarkable. How about Carole Lombard?
Thank you Katie! 🥰 Carole is most definitely going on the list!
Is Death really Abandonment?

She made some good movies with Cary Grant
I remember she use to be the face of Lancôme few years ago also
Do you like shadow sticks over the potted shadows (like from CT)? Debating which to try for a one and done shadow.

How about...Veronica Lake? Lauren BcCall? Katherine Hepburn? 😊😁😊
Great minds think alike Carolyn! 😁 Veronica Lake and Lauren Bacall are 2 of my favorite beauties!!! And Katherine - she's just a league of her own isn't she?
Claudette Colbert, that might be hard because the bone structure is so different. I think you could do Irene Dunne. I’d love that.
Do sissy spacek in Carrie 1976
Oooh that’s a good one!
I am ten years in breast cancer remission.
My mother was on an elevator with her and she said she was the most beautiful natural beauty she had seen, and there were many in CA.
💖
🥰
Beautiful job! Sad that her relationships with her kids could have been better. Hopefully all ended well.
Thank you Shila! 🥰 It seems Ingrid and her children ended on pretty good terms considering everything but it really was a shame she was so often separated from them!
You're so pretty vivid
I envy you 🥲😁😁😁
You’re too kind!
Well I'm so pretty too.😅😂
