- To celebrate 10 years since the release of SFM, I wanted to re-make the little intro/outro movie, by re-imagining it in Source 2!
Originally, this was an intro/outro created by valve and packaged with the original SFM when it released back in 2012

While making this, I really wanted to try juicing SFM as much as possible, so I literally used SFM to make basically every facet of this video! don't believe me? well you can download it yourself and render it in YOUR SFM!

This wasn't the real celebration for Source, it was just a teaser for what would become a huge love letter in the form of a source unfiction series. And man is this a start. The animation is just so cool! And I love how it bears significance on Interloper.
All *VALVe* games made with Source Game Engine are in a single intro, nice.
More like the more popular characters from valve, that terrorist isn't even here lol.

I wish it had the VALVe logo at the end instead of the SFM logo, because this would go so fucking hard as a VALVe intro.

Anomidae should see if he could somehow access console commands in Half Life Alyx
Maybe he’d get a type 5 more easily, or maybe even a new type
Sadly Half Life: Alyx runs on Source 2 which is a completely new engine so I doubt he could somehow get it to work on there.

can you make one of the long one where the logo is at the center front facing. I think that angle looks weird for an opening.
haha true, there's so many combinations possible with these sessions, I think i chose angles just to spice it up a bit but I see the point. If I can I'll make a version with that and add it to the video DL, but the session is also available to edit if you fancy S2FM/Half Life Alyx

interloper didnt started back then. I recall seeing it too not putting to much interpretation in it. Its a quirky source community thing to add some creepyness into stuff. So maybe they all thought its just a funny joke to spice things up
