    I love the simplicity and functionality. I'm looking forward to watching more of the Camprolla's evolution.

    Thank you. This looks exciting. I was gonna do a more intricate build out cause I’m short I can lay down in the backseat alone but I think you just sold me on putting in in this way. Thanks.

    Awesome! …we’re 2 women looking to try this in our 2017 Toyota Corolla in about 2 weeks. We watched this to get an idea to see if it can fit 2. Looks snug, but u make it look worth a try; so thanks for demonstrating this! And so detailed!
    Would you mind also sharing exactly how you removed the backseats? That’s the only thing we’re probably gonna have the most trouble with if we don’t find a good guide on UA-cam :( Any brief explanation would help alot! Thanks!

    • @anthsallwonky
      @anthsallwonky  2 роки тому

      It will be snug but doable. Im only like 5'7. You can move bags or anything to the front seats when sleeping. Hope you have a great trip. 2 weeks should be just fine for 2 people.

    I am taking my first Camprolla trip this weekend. I'm starting out slow. I learned a lot from your video. Most importantly I don't have to do a big build out. Yet.

    I removed the front seat and rear seats and made a single size mattress bed front of dash to the rear seat.
    I didn’t want to use 2x4 for my bed frame. I had milk carton crates as storage in the trunk… now I put them under my bed and have storage under my bed and an empty trunk!! Sturdy and lightweight.

    I was hoping to see a step by step of how you took the backseat out of your Toyota Corolla. I have a 2015 and all the seats does not go back far or lay flat. I want to use my car for housing until I buy a van. Any tips on how I can make my TC comfortable for sleeping would be greatly appreciated. Thanks😊

    • @anthsallwonky
      @anthsallwonky  2 роки тому +1

      there are just a few bolts on the backseat. if you put the seats down you can see them. the main tip is having a place to store most of your stuff as well as the back seats. my second trip around the states was alot better with less stuff in the car. also rest stops are a good place to sleep and have access to a bathroom. just don't hang out in one spot all day

    I scored an abandoned Corolla to use to get out through some mud slides we are having here. Planning to lift it, and get an LSD for it. Doing something to make it useable as a bed if I get stuck on the wrong side of a mud slide would be nice. How tall are you? I am 6’1”

    • @anthsallwonky

      That's pretty sweet. I am 5'6". If you are able to take out the front seat you would have more room. Hope you have some great adventures. Thanks for watching.

    Can this be done on a Toyota Camry?

    • @anthsallwonky
      @anthsallwonky  7 місяців тому

      it depends on the year of the Camry. Some models have a big hump in-between the backseat and the trunk. I have seen it done in some older model versions.

    I’m wondering if there’s a benefit to removing the upper portion of the back seat vs the lower portion (which allows the upper portion to lay down lower). There are no bolts holding the lower portion down, it just pops out. That’s what I do to fit my 8’ kayak inside my 07.

    • @anthsallwonky
      @anthsallwonky  Рік тому +1

      The 2018 may be different. I wasn't able to find a way to pop it out. Its flat enough with the pads I use tho. I may check it out tho. Thanks for watching.

  • @cyberskooma0001

    If only I wasn't nearly 6'5 haha. I think I'd have to remove or flatten the passenger seat too.

    • @anthsallwonky
      @anthsallwonky  Рік тому

      haha. there are some advantages to being 5'7 lol. I have thought about the space that removing the front passenger seat would make. I've contemplated using it as a space for a chair and desk.
