Thank you for being patient with her English, which is improving day-by-day. Like a lot of "Tinglish" speakers in Thailand, Rose is often mixes up her R's and L's and often doesn't pronounce the ends of her words. She's working on her language, but for now it's kind-of cute!

(Dave typing) Haha, good observation about the TV size! Rose and I hadn't seen each other for 2 months and only stayed 3 nights, so admittedly we didn't switch the TV on! (Too busy eating streetfood... LOL 😉😋 )

welcome back to Thailand Dave, hope you had a good flight, did you do the EVA flight? that's the one i did on Christmas day and was very disappointed
all the times i have visited Thailand i have never stayed in Bangkok, i usually have some fishing trips booked for the day following my arrival so never have time, i really need to spend some time there😊😊😊
(Dave typing) I flew Emirates, stopping for a week in Dubai to catch-up with my sister and nephew who live there, before journeying onto to Bangkok to meet the star of the show!
Likewise, Rose and I seldom spend more than a few days in Bangkok before heading elsewhere for tourism. Each time we try to stay in a different neighborhood of Bangkok because I've many people tell me that most [foreigners] fall in love with the city but only after spending sufficient time there to figure it out -- it's not a city that begets an instant personal/emotional connection. We are still Bangkoklearners, although the city is certainly growing on us.

Can recommend highly & not expensive…a b&b in Weymouth for the night is 3 times the price…lovely place & good breakfast…👍👍👍👍
