This was a fun episode. I loved seeing all your stash yarn and how you've decided to organize it. I have something similar but the cubbies have pull out fabric drawers that I organize by colors of the rainbow . I also have 2 clear tubs, one that holds my unspun yarn and the other holds my sweater quantity yarn. I also love those cedar boxes, I need to look out for something like that mostly because I love the smell but I'm sure it would help to deter any unwanted visitors.

Love the video, I've been thinking of getting that exact cabinet! My yarns are currently in plastic totes and it would be great to have more visibility to them, as yes I forget what I have!

I love the idea of storing my yarn and fiber in open shelves so I can enjoy and admire them, but the sad reality is that I've been battling wool moths in my home for literal decades. I've got sticky pheromone traps up in every room now, and I change them every three months and that seems to be helping. I haven't seen any moths fluttering around for maybe a month now. But I don't know if I'll ever feel comfortable enough about the issue to store my yarn and fiber in open shelves.

I started storing the more critical skeins and balls in reclaimed plastic zip lock bags and pillow cases after I made this video! I totally get it.

Just found your podcast and great episode on organizing your stash! My stash is stored in shelving units with wicker bins. After moving, I started recording stash on Ravelry & highly recommend! Ravelry stash organizes Yarns by weight, making them easy to locate. Like Ravelry feature when viewing a pattern that has used this yarn ‘1 Idea’ or more pops up on the pattern page. Wondering where you purchased your glass door cabinet for sweaters. Would love to have one!
