Any man who wakes up his wife at 1:00 a.m. to throw a tantrum over a fork has anger issues and will escalate verbal and emotional abuse to physical abuse. That should be the wife's cue to leave.

The man who yelled at his wife about a fork, is the same type of man who would claim his wife divorced him "without a warning...totally out of the blue". It doesn't click in his brain that his behavior is a problem in the marriage.

Yeah, and also the type who will go complain on Reddit about how she's not feeling him anymore. This was my dad and this triggered me. I was around 14 years old, outside, hanging out, helping in the garden. My dad came marching up on me like the world was in WWIII and something important was about to happen, walked me ALLLL the way back into the house (we lived on 10 acres), to show me..wait for it...some sort of large lint ball in the middle of the living room floor. No joke. First time I ever rebelled and lost my mind and mouth! My ex- married almost 20 years, knows I'm allergic to coconut, I ask him to get my an iced coffee (I wasn't feeling well) and he came home with ice coffee-with coconut milk and flavor in it. I kid you not. Nope Worked in corporate healthcare, mostly men in charge. I was in a meeting and they wanted to do something nice for the staff...as they all try to defer it to me to coordinate, plan and execute. I ignored them. Nope. Done with men-forever!

I have a big scar on my right thigh, because when I was 7, my father was screaming at me across the pasture. So I panicked and ran so fast to my bicycle that I fell down and ripped my leg open on the kick stand. When I got to the house, he yelled at me asking, “Where’s the mustard?” It was in the door of the fridge like it is in everyone’s fridge. I lived in constant fear of this man, because anything could set him off. I got 75 lashings with a cane because my sister threw away 1/2 of a piece of Kraft American Cheese, and she missed the trash can. He and Mom knew I didn’t eat that kind of cheese, and that my sister was only 3, but I got punished for what?

Yes! "When they get with you they act like they don't appreciate you turning their house into a home." is right on. I scrubbed a quarter inch of soap scum, hard water, and who knows what else off the bottom of my ex's bath tub before I would shower at his place for the first time and he immediately complained that I had made his tub slippery.

These bad partners need to try and do everything their stay-at-home partner does, even for just a day, which also changes depending on children and pets. Yes, dishes and sweeping themselves may not take long, but if you have pets or children, you're doing both all day long. Not to mention laundry, walls if children are especially messy, toys pick-up, entertaining, feeding, bathing, tantrums/breakdowns, errands, garden/lawn, pet bowls, grooming/entertainment, walks, cleaning of fur/excrement/vomit/ruined or damaged things, education on personal and interpersonal things (because we know children don't just magically learn those things by themselves), etc.
Not to mention the adult also has to eat, bathe, use toilet, exercise, and take time for themselves throughout those how ever many hours the other partner is at work for their own sanity and mental health. AND if the stay-at-home partner is sick, has chronic issues, injured, getting less/worse quality sleep, everything is more exhausting which takes even longer. Not to mention you're pretty much taking care of another adult who does nothing to help with those things around the house, which amounts to more mess and tasks needing to be done by the home partner.
    Edit: grammar & spelling

I don’t think men understand what the Kitchen and Dishes need to be done multiple, yes I said MULTIPLE times a day. Particularly if there is a stay at home mom who HAS to cook multiple times a day. Like if a mom makes 3 meals a day, now you have to clean the kitchen 3 times a day minimum 2 if you just do morning and night. Like you come home and the dishes are dirty? But do you realize that she has already done dishes twice throughout the day, and cleaned the stove. So what if the woman doesn’t want to clean the last batch until tomorrow: like doing that job (yes it’s a job) multiple times a day 365 days a year gets tedious and exhausting. If a women wants to take a break every once in a while are you are not capable of being a grownup and taking care of your own self? Someone please explain to me what the issue is to that man in the first video looking for a damn fork?

But it was my night to clean them. After we ate we went to watch a movie and i do IT and got a call for an emergency so ran to work got home at 9pm got home was going to eat some leftovers and clean up then i was going to play games till like 2am or maybe 3d model. Well she cleaned the dishes while i was gone she tried to be sneaky by leaving 3 dishes in the sink thinking i wouldnt realize (she told me this later) so yeah we got into a playful arugment and she sais snice i worked late that and she didnt that its only fair for her to clean and im like no thats not the rule the cook clean is like the law and we cant change the law. Lady is crazy i love her to death like if your mad the dishes arent clean than just clean them i guess its ok to be upset if you always here they are going to do x but never do thats differnt

The absent housewife effect is one of the worst kept secrets of patriarchy. Where a husband realizes that in order to do the work that a single stay at home wife does for free, that he would need to hire and pay a salary to about 8 different people. Like women do so much unpaid labor for society, that putting them in prison to work as literal slave labor, isnt half as profitable for the economy as just keeping them on parole or house arrest. Like the absent housewife dillema is so strong it literally drives the legal system to give women less jail time for the same crimes. Cus imagine having a woman in manacles and a prison jumpsuit as a babysitter or a teachers aid or running a bakesale, or helping out in an old folks home, or setting up a childrens birthday, or any number of feminine things.
