I would barely call New Riff craft at this point. They have larger distribution than nearly other new distillery other than maybe Penelope (which is part of Ross and Squib now anyway). My two favorite small brands are New Riff and Redwood Empire. I think Redwood has better bourbon but New Riff has better rye. Grizzly Beast is possibly the best BIB bourbon on the market.

After your last video on the New Riff 8 year I pestered my niece who lives near Cincinnati to pick up a bottle. Now you got me thinking that I should have asked for two. Thanks for showcasing New Riff. I gave yet to have a bad experience from New Riff
Not sure I would call NR "Craft" but we all have opinions. NR does some amazing things with Rye, but I have not been sold on their bourbon yet. I will definitely try this NR 8 yr. I really enjoy EHT, just like most things from BT, the consistency is wonderful. And for the price, its a winner for me. Thanks for another interesting video.
EH Taylor like many products from Buffalo Trace are more hype than substance. If New Rif can get its products out in some amounts so that it is widely available at a competitive price.. BUH BYE EH TAYLOR..
New Riff is scoffed at, but I truly believe they put out some of the best whiskey at reasonable price points. I haven't had a bad bottle of their bourbons or their ryes.
