Throwing a Reserve that is not attached to your Harness, is beyond Funny, It is Hilarious !!! Lucky no one got hurt, Paragliding is a Sport where the margin for errors is very very small. Gavin, you must have had your Guardian Angel,
Looking out, after you that day !! :-)
Nice one recording all these.😆
People may already know this but anything you buy on amazon in 24hrs after using a link in description can help doesn't have to be one of the items listed. Go buy a 70"tv 😉 don't cost you a penny extra but will help out great channel like this.
This is awesome dude, I didn't know that! Thanks for letting me know and for the help!
Thank you for your channel!
Just my 0.02$. It's possible to stop even more effectively, as Gavin described (stalling one side), just by adding front collapse (trough firm A pull) of the opposite wingtip (already on the ground!!). Then twist & run to stalled side. But obviously, as mentioned, that stuff need to be trained ahead :D
Good point. Short answer I don't know but it might turn the wing so much that it helis? I remember I was flying on a really windy day after I've been to this class with Gavin and was on the ground, the wind was very strong and I was being slowly pushed back with hand full up so I thought I'd try the one side method... Oh dear... didn't work at all and got massively dragged. Don't have video of it but you can imagine the wing went to 90degs to the ground and it acted like a big kitesurfing sail
Andre Bandarra Of course, I'm not only "been there, done so", but actually still "over there" in strong winds :D Slowly grasping what is needed to be done :D As Gav stated, it's no shame to be dragged by the wing :)

you mention someone , excuse the spelling kregal ?? who ?
I'm guessing he mentioned Chrigel Maurer, the greatest pilot of all time :D but if you let me know the minutes and seconds at which Gavin says it I can confirm it for you
