I used your mixing technique last night and oh my goodness! My face came out flawless and did not crease in any way. I followed your technique to the letter and used the same products. I am a singer and this lasted through intense sweat. Amazing!
I totally agree with mixing both. I love the Double Wear, but I have to be light handed cause it makes my face look dry. I wear the Futurist alone and it isn’t shining on my skin. I guess my skin is more on the dry side. But mixing both allows my face to be moisturize and with more coverage and staying power. I totally agree that it would be wonderful, if Estée Lauder would merge these two products and come out with a new line.. Fantastic video.

I, too, felt Futurist way too shiny for me, so now you've given me a new way to use it! Funny though, how so many people think *shine equals hydration! In reality, one can be very shiny looking but the shine is merely a crisp dry layer of something applied earlier, which quickly dried..(but the mica &other particles in the product still project that shine) Once again, appreciate your video, & intend to share it with others☺ One question-- have you tried the newly launched Estee Lauder Double Wear Sheer Long Wearing Foundation? So far there are only a handful of reviews on YT on it. (as of Aug 14, 2021) Everyone says it's not really sheer. Looks like the ELDWLight might be disappearing again, too, such a shame. I purchased some when it was heavily discounted since I like that formula. .
Thank you and no I have not tried DWSheer. I think DW is very versatile depending on how you use it and apply it so I don’t really see the need for a lighter formula. I can get sheer coverage with DW 😊
May I ask what shade of blush you are using? It looks lovely. Also your bronzer? I believe the blush is hourglass and the bronzer is Estée Lauder. I would love to know your shades. I using the same foundation shades as you are.

Did you wet the sponge?
No but a damp sponge will give you a more sheer coverage if you prefer that
