      7 layer method is actually supposed to be done with toner.. it originates in korea and if you were to actually put 7 layers of essence (which is like a watery serum but thicker than water) on your skin, it would be way too much. i used to do it with toner and even found that 2-3 layers was very sufficient and i have DRRRYYY skin like peely-type dry. this much essence would cost you way too much money and honestly wouldn't have much effect. i would suggest to try it with toner if you're interested in it because toner can actually absorb a LOT better than essence can, meaning drying times between layers will be shorter and it will actually penetrate into your skin... she looks glowy but that's because there's a beauty filter and too much product on her skin if she's doing 7 layers of essence. toner, toner, toner!

      @@yaya3403 how you do it with toner .. steps ?

    • @yaya3403
      @yaya3403 Рік тому +15

      @@mariyam9 you just apply thin layers with drying time in between. when it feels like the toner has absorbed mostly or all of it, kinda like if your skin has drank it up, apply the next layer. i would suggest using your fingers/hands for 7-step because a cotton pad that many times could be a bit sensitive or harsh. but yeah, apply a layer, let it dry, apply the next one and repeat until you're satisfied (: it's not done often anymore but i know there's still some people who swear by it (: just don't use an alcohol toner because those are already irritating in one layer hahaha
      edit: you could also use a spray bottle to apply it. i usually apply toner this way anyway (just get the travel spray bottles at the dollar store) but sometimes i do 2-3 layers with drying between if my skin feels like it needs some extra hydration (: good luck!

It's literally one thing and it's still kinda pricey but it's half the price of SK-II and less if you can get it on sale.

You, as an influencer should be well aware that people as young as 13 might be watching your videos and some of them may be dealing with various skin issues themselves. If you had inserted pictures of your troubled skin, it would have been different. But this was normal and you using ten products to fix THAT is just going to make young people feel even more insecure. I'm guessing you're an adult. I thought I was purchasing an Essence with the BOJ as on the box it states it is a Ginseng Essence Water. The consistency of it is like water, very thin liquid. I like it very much and while keeping my skin hydrated I have used other brands of essences that provide more hydration for my skin. I have seen labels such as Essence, Ginseng Essence, Ginseng Toner, etc. It can be confusing.

Wrinkles on the other hand are definitely not supposed to happen in your twenties, but that isn’t to say it can’t happen
