We have 2 Steiners. They were the original “Ventrac” before the Steiners sold it and later they started Ventrac. One is from the mid 70’s and the other the mid 80’s so they do last a long time if maintained properly.
@@RjBin-xz2um you’re correct! Pascuali was an Italian tractor commonly used in orchards. I still see them occasionally at tractor shows. Cool machines. Ferrari made a similar tractor. Very happy to see you with half a million subscribers! No surprise really but congratulations nevertheless. You're producing a quality product with unique flavour and humour ("finding, buying and rat-rodding/restoring heavy antique equipment somewhere deep in a forest"?). You've invested time, tools and effort to get here. Leaf blower test seems to be just in time - not many more leaves left on the trees - you're done for this season! Whether or not you keep it... Time and effort spent modifying your silage blower (which we love to watch) + lost opportunities doing other projects / income producing or not + likelihood of effective outcome (including snow-blowing during coming months) + possible income opportunities using this blower + ... My head hurts already! Looking forward to whichever way you go. Again, congratulations!
Agreed ...............except All those leaves = 1 - strong wind in the wrong direction = more work 2 - Leaf mulch is one of the best compost maker around - good for improving soil therefore IMHO would've been far superior machine if it vacuumed and contained rather than blow and disperse *please note the IMHO*
@@philhunt9297 i agree with you. it really is an impressive piece of machinery, but a temporary one. i checked their website and they do actually have a "grass and leaf vacuum", it's called "RV602". dunno if it is as effective to remove the wet stuck leafs tho? 🤔
@@pjuppi problem with leaf vacuums is the size of the storage tank. And judging by the pictures the RV602 has a tiny tank. With the amount of leaves Matt has I think it would be more of a hassle.
@@Jehty_ yea, that''s true. it was indeed kinda tiny. but he could've just dumped the leaf stacks on the edge of the driveway and set it on fire 😁. either more hassle to transport it away / fire it up or blow it away and have the wind take it back. i have no idea what's the best solution, either way we get cool videos like this!
Love it. Try using it as a snowblower. Probably it would work best on untouched snow and take it right down to ground level with no packing it down so you don't get an ice build up. Great videos love your style and the Semi-Supervillians music. Keep up the great work 👍.
4 year ago saw these on UA-cam ,and literally 8 miles up the road found a local dealer selling them and love them , now a full time employee and get to work I on them and play on them , just love ventracs , thanks to DGM UK SOUTH DEVON ENGLAND 👍🙂
Far out! What an effective bit of kit, that really cleans things up and leaf mulch makes horrible mush after snow. Funny, I watched Mike from Outdoors with the Morgans put new line on his string trimmer once but that blower was way more fun. Hope you get the concrete down before winter.
We had a tree fall across the road blocking both lanes and a guy used one of those ventrac mowers to push the log to the side after it was cut in half , those machines are powerful for there size!
That's pretty cool, I wonder if they also have snow removal attachments. The leaf plow looks like it would be better suited for parking lots and pavement.
That thing is ferocious! Never mind the leaves it would probably blow the leaves whilst they are still on the tree! Mind you then Mother Nature sends in a Cat 5 and levels them all out again!
While last year's contraption complete with flame exhaust was awesome, this thing seems way more practical. Only you could make leaf blowing so entertaining! LOL Good job!

Those blowers are incredible! ... just watch out for sandy areas (like horseshoe pits), and pea gravel walkways ... it will relocate them too!!! Unless the leaves are really wet, I've never had a need for the leaf plow .. the blower did fine, even if it took a couple passes on the heavy stuff. Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
Bag those leaves and sell them as mulch for garden fertilizer. Using leaf mulch is an organic, inexpensive, nutrient-rich way to make sure your plants will grow and produce year after year. Fall is in the air; the leaves are on the ground, and I couldn't be happier. To be clear, I don't enjoy the work of raking leaves any more than you do. However, I do have a solid appreciation for what leaves add to my garden and landscape just a few months after they fall. Where most people see leaf debris as trash, along with hours of raking or blowing, bagging and hauling, I see garden beds covered in rich, organic compost. Nature knows what it's doing. In fact, did you know that leaves contain 50 to 80% of the nutrients that are extracted from the earth by tree roots? Recycling this precious resource to replenish soil will nourish all that is planted in it. If you're already gathering them up anyway, doesn't using leaves as mulch make perfect sense?
Man 30 years ago I ran a ten man crew maintaining a 175 acre cemetery, if I had a tool like this then wow. Back then we did it all the old school way, push blowers, rakes and a leaf vac truck. We did get a tow behind blower for the tractor but it was only good for the open fields.
I agree, that blower steals the show. The plow is not a show stopper. I'd keep the blower and keep the driveway clear. Great content. See you next time.
Your new favorite blower. If you want to blow some leaves you know which tool to use. To top it off you can do it sitting down. If only had a heated steering wheel it would be almost perfect.
It's almost comical that I left a thumbs up watching a leaf blower at work, but, since I like Matt's content and was quite mesmerized by leaves blowing, and of course it doesn't cost me a thing, so thumbs up to this video.
Matt; might I suggest creating a marshalling yard to park all your odds and sods. Just placing various stuff from old trucks & truck caps, disused equipment to log piles beside your drive is exacerbating your leaf problem in every way from the wind piling it up to you having to blow around all of it. Those of us living in snow belts will tell you that putting up snow fences beside a drive way is just asking for drifts you can't see over right down the entire laneway.
I always like the intro music.. I've seen units similar to that before..( gigantic hand dryer) drying out surfaces.. tennis courts.. etc. A "viable option" for sure
Robert , in addition they are selling because of health reasons, and could probably dicker down on the price! Ditch Witch looks divine, and both look like the tires hold air in the photos, and both look like the metal is good.
Sweet, another ventrac vid! I bet that leaf blower would kick ass in the light fluffy snows that blow all over if trying to plow or snowblow. Imagine using it to clean off your other toys before bringing it in the shop.

That is one badass blower. It was really impressive how it was lifting old wet stuck down leaves with no trouble at all.
Agreed ...............except
All those leaves =
1 - strong wind in the wrong direction = more work
2 - Leaf mulch is one of the best compost maker around - good for improving soil
therefore IMHO would've been far superior machine if it vacuumed and contained rather than blow and disperse
*please note the IMHO*
This has got to be one of the most gratifying attachments ever.
It's like a power washer on wheels!
I have a steiner 420. Its old but I plow snow , move dirt , blow leaves , haul trailers and mow with it . Best damn thing I ever bought .
I use a quad with a snowplow on it to push piles of leaves into the woods at home. Huge time saver especially if the leaves are wet.
Love it. Try using it as a snowblower. Probably it would work best on untouched snow and take it right down to ground level with no packing it down so you don't get an ice build up.
Great videos love your style and the Semi-Supervillians music.
Keep up the great work 👍.
Very neat piece of gear - I've seen something like it being used to handle dry snow - crazy fast!
What a nice machine and the attachments look very well built it will be interesting to see how your DIYS blower will stack up, I've got faith!
Also good for blowing grass fires back onto its self.
4 year ago saw these on UA-cam ,and literally 8 miles up the road found a local dealer selling them and love them , now a full time employee and get to work I on them and play on them , just love ventracs , thanks to DGM UK SOUTH DEVON ENGLAND 👍🙂
I could watch this all day !
Amazing equipment!
Very expensive but I will own one some day.
Matt we are all so happy for you. you work hard and the new shop is the cherry on top.
Wonder if that leaf Plow would Work with Snow 🤔 28:52 @Diesel Creek
man, that thing really blows. And it's surprisingly relatively quiet as well, which is rather impressive
It's strong enough to blow the water out of a wet spot to stop a pothole from forming or to dry a pothole out to fill in and fix!
That's pretty cool, I wonder if they also have snow removal attachments. The leaf plow looks like it would be better suited for parking lots and pavement.
They have attachments for nearly everything, including snow plows and snowblowers up to 52" in width.
Great morning dose of Diesel Creek !
That is very Impressive machine. Removing the leaves with no problem . makes life so much easier.
That thing is ferocious! Never mind the leaves it would probably blow the leaves whilst they are still on the tree! Mind you then Mother Nature sends in a Cat 5 and levels them all out again!
Good morning Matt, that Leaf blower is awesome. Definitely a tool I would consider having. Be good and take care. 👍
Impressive piece of equipment. Don't let Peg see this, Canada would never bee the same if he were to get his hands on one of these.
While last year's contraption complete with flame exhaust was awesome, this thing seems way more practical. Only you could make leaf blowing so entertaining! LOL Good job!
Wow That Ventrac Turbine Blower is So Cool Matt I been wondering if That ventrac Machine would Work well cutting 6 plus foot tall Weeds Down In a Desert environment with lots of Dirt and rocks small and big or maybe i need a Serious Brush Hog I Dont know Any thoughts Matt 3:15 @Diesel Creek
Love this product. Have used one for work for years. Every attachment is amazing
Really nice equipment. While watching I thought that only blowing the leafs outward to the forest surrounding the yard would be better than blowing it inward.
That’s an amazing machine mate love it hope you all are doing well you really need one or cut down your trees but we really don’t want to do that so get ya!!
wow matt..... you really know how to surprice us everytime with the projects and toys you have. i think you litterly blew us away with this one, its like a mobile tornado. great job done.
I see what you did there - almost missed your pun ("litter-ly" / "literally")! Very cool the way you set us up with a spelling mistake first ("surprice"). (Heh-heh-heh... chuckles to hisself.)
OH MAN, THAT IS A BEAST!... I love how when the nozzle is pointed downward; it makes a pile of leaves...
Leaf Blowing: Fully Autumnated!
That leaf plough I would imagine is better for things like grassy areas.
Hey Matt what a sensational machine ! It looks awesome. When do we get a walk around of your new truck ? Does it sound as good as old blue ? I hope you’ve treated underneath it so hold rust at bay for as long as possible !
G’day from Australia 🇦🇺 mate !!
that must have been so satisfying! EDIT: +1 for the extreme slo-mo
Awesome, I wonder how it would work on blowing snow.
Right! Would be great to connect a hot air cannon or politician of your choice to it to provide hot air and melt the snow 😉
Great way of blowing away your top soil
Как всегда у Мэтта, крутые штуки. Так держать, спасибо за видео.
That tune at around 23 minute mark... Man that's awesome.
That will help you to keep your ditches free and clear for better drainage. Plus winter light snows can be blown off the road.
do not stop,,, buy it,,, it will give you more time for other projects, and more videos, also the shop is great.....
You have to get rid of leaves from the trees, at least if you have as many as you do. Great that you have found a good machine!
I always like the intro music.. I've seen units similar to that before..( gigantic hand dryer) drying out surfaces.. tennis courts.. etc. A "viable option" for sure
Matt, that blower is a stud. The hair on my bald head was blowing. YIKES!!!! The adjustable nozzle really makes quick work of blowing those leaves.
THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO
