Jet Powered Blower

  • Опубліковано 2 бер 2019
  • Made a turbine powered blower, mainly to de-ice aircraft wings from frost, but it can be powered up significantly to blow leaves, snow, melt and dry ice on sidewalks, or blow a pack of rabid raccoons out of the yard.
Its computer controlled, auto start and creates up to 52 pounds of thrust at full power. Ear plugs required.

I get 3 days off every week but they're Wednesday Thursday and Friday, and when I get home I have like barely an hour and 15 minutes for myself because it's late as fuck and I have to be awake by 5:30. Shit gets super old. For me the worst part is the mental game of having Friday night be my "get ready for work night" while most people are going "fuck yeah time to relax" and going out with friends or staying up late.
But the pay is good so I deal with it, for now at least. Looking for a different job until I can get back into the Army because this routine is making me pretty bitter.

@@zagreus5773 the production (or lack thereof) is casual. A guy made a cool invention and his friend recorded it while they tested the thing. The video is straight to the point and lasts what it needs to. If a youtuber made this video you'd have a vlog of the build, lots of cuts, intense drama music, you know the drill. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I miss the charm in videos like this where people act like people and not like celebrities.

I literally just was. Wish I had it 2 hours ago the walk back to the truck would have been way cooler from the lake

I like how it has a bipod presumably for keeping upright in storage, but it looks like a wind gun

Bro... It's impressive to see so much power come out of such a relatively small object. You could actually create a jetpack out of these parts.

I think the hardest part about flight for individual persons is the energy storage.
Iron Man's suit wouldn't be possible without that tiny reactor of his that can fit in the palm of one's hand.

@@brendenpischke6060 I think it would rather be balance. Designing planes was never simple, it took many years and knowledge in fluid mechanics, and it still requires it’s pilots to have an extreme knowledge of the sky in order not to die because the wind was not blowing in the right direction or because they didn’t realize they were upside down when flying in a cloud.
