I have the virtual cockpit so i focus on that rather than the console screen, especially maps as you can have it full screen. I can see why you think its small though from the video but when you are sat in the car it's perfectly fine
he must have accidentally pressed the button on the end of the indicator stalk that turns on the lane assist. its only meant for motor way/autobahn or highway
I guess the aggressive steering self-centering could be because of the active lane assist system. I could be wrong, but it seems weird that Audi would use such an unintuitive steering setup in a big SUV...
my recommendation is to set individual settings; steering to auto/ balanced. My a4 does the same thing and this helps to change the settings, also dynamic steering ratio changes things a lot.
i love audi because they are always there to be the alpha male of diesel engines, they makes bigger and powerful engines too that the petrol engine users thinks that how can a diesel engine go like that.

The other thing is gearbox.... Crikey they don't look at the road ahead and there's no easy way yet developed of telling them to just stay in the gear they're in... They're paranoid, worrying about getting max power all the time.... Does my head in

I am disappointed with the review based on the driver,s poor knowledge of the vehicle. He was unaware of the lane assistance feature and rated the vehicle poorly because of it. With the lane assist off the steering is PERFECT. I am a proud 2017 q7 owner prestige the car is awesome.
I hate artificial steering feel, you do not need it, it is in horrid and irrelevant because....? You can feel everything through the seat and the body-instantly I just want light steering, not a valve that makes it suddenly go 'heavy', feeling like an old landrover, when you are trying to whip it around a junction on dry flat tarmac

A petrol engine wouldn't suit the SQ7, you need the torque from the diesel to power all the weight.
