The fella who asks Django how his name is spelt, is Franco Nero, who was the original 'Django' (1966). The opening song is also that of the original movie. The stories though are completely different.
For the last scene: This is actually Jamie's horse. Jamie Foxx is passionate rider.
In the hole movie It was Jamie's horse.

When Leo slammed his his hand on the table it was real blood. He actually cut his hand and needed stitches. But he kept going.
Tarantino was blown away by the backlash he received for the violence towards the slave owners and overseers, by critics after the private screening. He was amazed they were upset about their deaths, but not moved by a man being ripped apart by a dog and the treatment of enslaved people. They were especially triggered by DJango comments on bounty hunting. There was some scenes deleted, such as Hildy being raped by Billy before Django rescuing her from that shack... You should check out The Magnificent Seven with Denzel Washington.
This movie is sooo good! Django is my second favourite Tarantino. Highly reccomend Inglorious Basterds if you haven't watched it. Also Christopher Waltz in it, he's excellent! And yes the scene where Leo smashes his hand on the table is real blood, he actually cut himself, they just kept the take aha.
I wanna thank you for not saying that Pulp Fiction is your favorite, that movie is sooo overrated! I’m so sick of people praising that movie and saying that it’s Tarantino’s best movie
@@nsasupporter7557 totally! I never understood the fascination with Pulp Fiction, besides "iconic scenes", it has no story whatsoever and I could never get into it :/
@@justinelehoux1845 exactly! I only saw it for the first time like 8 years ago or so and it was extremely difficult to follow. It had no real plot like you said and it just senseless violence and drug use
Inglorious Bastereds is my favorite. Waltz is so amazing in both.
‘Who’s that stumbling around in the dark?’
Leo hated his character and he was beyond reluctant to say so many racist lines and dialogue. . .until Samuel lectured him to buck up and be an ACTOR.
That scene with the k k is probably the funniest part in this whole movie.
It is, and it's the most enraging part for me. Those monsters killed and mutilated lots of people in real life and the vast majority were never brought to justice. To make a joke of them is conflicting.
@@playfulpanthress Agreed
@@playfulpanthress My opinion is that they are exactly as they are portrayed. Simple, cowardly, brutal and dangerous in a group. This means you don't have any problems with them being blown up. The number of refugees who flee in panic shows that they are absolute cowards.
The cherry on the cake is "Big Daddy" - he's just as cowardly as the rest of his troop. So I like the portrayal of this collection of cowardly racists. Nice shot Django.
It's not the KKK, which didn't exist during the antebellum period. It was founded subsequent to the war in Pulaski, Tennessee under the leadership of former Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest.
@@playfulpanthress Well, Mel Brooks did the same thing with Nazis in films like “The Producers”. There are times when it is good to poke fun at evil, especially when there has been a certain grace period, time wise, between those horrible acts and now.
@14:30 , I have the soundtrack to this movie (incredible btw) and it is on "blood spattered vinyl" meant to recreate the look of this Brittle brother's blood splattered on the cotton.
Kind of adds something to it, don't it. 😂
Nice pick. Cheers!
About Leo with the skull of old Ben, he wasn't just making it up, phrenology was a thing. Of course it's BS, but in the context of the movie, he's on solid scientific ground.
I'm a new sub due to Harry Potter. I can't wait to follow your Tarantino journey! I would suggest release order.
Don't forget True Romance......a script that he wrote to raise the money for Reservoir Dogs
This is my first video of yours. And I love watching new channels. I don't know if it's up your alley but I would love if you consider giving mister holland's opus a try. I don't think enough.
People have reacted to it and it's an amazing movie.
Keep spreading that positivity my man! And congrats on the quick growth. GoT was a great place to start your Reaction journey and I’m enjoying that ride with ya as well. If you haven’t seen The Office and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, they rightfully so have a huge fan base and the episodes make for great content to new viewers. Tons of wow/shock factor. As far as the Tarantino flicks go, Reservoir Dogs needs to be next. I’ve always been one to want to check out ones earlier work before there more recent stuff. It allows me to see where they’ve come from and any progress/regression one may have. Until next time brother!
Definitely a top 10 for me and I'm a movie fanatic 🍿. I've watched many many many movies throughout my life. #django #jamiefoxx #tarintino #samljackson #leodicaprio
Yeah it was incredible! I really want to do some more Tarantino movies now
The guy that reminded you of clint Eastwood? He was Django in a series a while back.
Wow, I'm never this early. Looking forward to this reaction 😊👍
Yep that Q i love he plays bit parts in his movies !
The acting is outstanding, one of my favorites.
FYI IN THE SKULL SCENE Leo really cut his hand but never stopped the scene so it was real blood.
Also he hated useing the N word , so on the first day he went to Samuel Jackson and talked to him @ it , not wanting anyone to think hes ok using it. And ive read Samuel said to Leo Its just another Tuesday at work, so go to work and dont worry about it.
Also the horse that dances and dies tricjs, is Jamie Foxes Real horse that he trained. And they used it in the movie.
You cant go wrong with a Quinton Tarantino Movie, hes a vrilliant writer and director all his movies not only make you think but laugh and feel . . It great so keep enjoying. .
Lord of the rings is always a great thing for channel growth and its maybe the perfect trilogy
New to you bro. Loved your reaction.
Please react to Gladiator! 🖤🌹🖤🧛
I highly recommend Inglorious Bastards next! You'll get to see Christoph Waltz again- this time as the villain, though! :)
Hateful 8 is a western in the same style as Django and is Top Tier as well
Hateful 8 was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen
@@nsasupporter7557u just have the attention span of a fly

Inglorious Basterds is my favorite Tarantino movie, a must watch for sure. New sub ✅
You should definitely react to " the hateful eight " another Tarantino western masterpiece that was made right around the same time Django was made
I agree Perfect movie and i love your reaction
THAT WAS LEO'S REAL BLOOD.
If you like a little western in your movies..you must watch
💥... Magnificent Seven..remake with Denzel Washington..Chris Pratt
Thanks for this reaction...🌿🌿🌿
7:18 that would be $2,838.35 in 2024
In case you missed it....Mr. Candi and his sister were lovers.
React to Fargo. The movie, not the series. Forest Gump, Big Fish... I think you would love Big Fish.
Hey I wanted to tell you about something you didn't see in the movie. A guy fell off a horse as an extra and died on the set and was trampled by a horse right on the set and its on the movie as a mistake
Stephen was smarter than everybody in the big house. He knows when to play dumb and probably doesn't dislike his own race, but playing a role like Django to get ahead in those times.
I agree he was smartest, but I disagree that he didn't dislike his own. I think Stephen is very much against his own. Like Uncle Ruckus.
@@playfulpanthress idk, you saw how playful he was with the other black women in the kitchen.
@@wzrdmstr Yeah, because men can NEVER be playful and still monsters..
@wzrdmstr Yeah, because men that are monsters NEVER play around with anyone. Be serious.
Watch apocalypto amazing movie
Fun fact Leo actually cut his hand and that was his blood he smeared on her face
Leo did cut himself, and they kept that in for dramatic effect because it worked really well in that scene. HOWEVER, they did stop filming between takes and used fake blood for the part where he smeared it on her face.
Can you watch breaking bad
Please react to LOST, Sons of Anarchy, Lord of the Rings and Hell on Wheels
