Hey guys, could have a look at my most recent post on my communities page. Thanks
YOU TALK TOO MUCH
Your viers are not black/morons ;) dammm
Hello there, just saw this video today, im new to your channel, they called him Spaniard, since he was from Hispania the Iberian Peninsula, Actual Portugal and Spain, in roman and pre roman times Hispania made fine soldiers, since Celt times and romans aswell the equipment and training were top tier.
Interesting fact Oliver reed (proximo) actually died from heart attack arm wresting American soldiers in a bar mid way through filming this that’s why they had to kill his character off if you notice it’s not actually him in the scene
That might be a small detail but I love that you pause the movie to say what you mean instead of pretending to be smoothly talking over it like the other reactors 🎉
They called him Spaniard probably because he was from Spain, or he told them he was from Spain. He wouldn't tell them anything more about himself because he was smart, and needed to fly under the radar until he could reach Commodus.
The actor Oliver Reed that played Proximo died before filming finished and they had to digitally kill him off, he was meant to survive. Russel Crowe became great friends with him and went to his funeral, he even states that he had the biggest influence on his acting and career going forward.
"Oh, so they're brother and sister. I read that completely different."... naaah honey, you didn't miss a thing.
🤣😅🤢
Fr 😂💀
Russell Crowe actually did all of his stunts and was injured several times. He is also an expert horseman and loves horses.
When it comes to movies they don't get much better than this. It's got everything going for it, beautifully filmed, great characters, drama, action, and soundtrack.
This was filmed in Morocco, Malta, and England.
Yes, Joaquin phoenix, (Wah-KEEN) he’s despicable in this role. Everyone loves to hate Commodus. 😊
I love this film so really enjoy watching first time reactions.
This means I’ve seen a fair few and yours has been the only one who didn’t cut the “you sold me queer giraffes” line.
For this you get a sub 😊
Nice reaction. I like the fact that you don't talk every second like some other reactors and also you pause when you talk, so you don't miss dialogue.
That one guy that appeared to switch sides, he didn't exactly have a great choice to make. He either listens to the new Emperor or he would have also died. If I'm not mistaken, he dropped the sword right before the fight with the emperor so that the crowd could see he was injured
I didnt know that detail! Quite clever
Maximus was more like “you’re a dead man walking, your body just hasn’t hit the ground yet.”
You calling Commodus Colin is killing me
KP calling out Quintus had me rolling lol "ay dont be switching sides now i see you in the corner"
Oh hell yeah!! Really happy to see you with this masterpiece. 🥂 🎬 Great choice!
Honestly, it was a masterpiece
yes ,if any movie reactionist doesn’t do a reaction to Gladiator then I don’t take them seriously, a masterpiece indeed!!
Never mad that u havent seen something, cause it gives us more to interduce u to. This is a great film, brutal, heartbreaking but beautiful. Thanx, I was entertained, Peace
Joaquin Phoenix has the most infuriating face ever becuz he can act his AZZ off
One of my favourite movies of all time
Gladiator?
Truly pure cinema
Yes please watch the alien movies. The Prometheus remakes are insanely good too.
I'll add it to the list :)
Check out “the last samurai “ bro starting Tom cruise
Braveheart and The Last Samurai should be next after the rest of The Lord of the Rings!
Should react to Braveheart. Similar vibe to this
One of my favorite films, and and also my first rated R film 🥰
Great reaction, Youngblood. Subscribed.
i mean, sure you could play dead in a battlefield - the result would be the same, cus they're gonna clean up the place, loot the bodies, you know - work the area :D
unless you do some bugs bunny routine, where you disguise as a bush and crawl away inch by inch, or something, pretending to be dead again whenever someone looks your way
Yes sir. ALIEN franchise....expeditiously
I've watched many Gerard Butler ands Russel Crowe movies where I didn't know it was the other one until the end of the movie... Like 300... So don't feel bad.
I think Commodus punctured a lung when he stabbed him. In those days there was nothing to do for that
There's actually a fair bit of CGI in Gladiator
"killed the man who set you free" wat the...!" i'll have to look into that, i somehow missed it (i watched gladiator reactions a million times lol)
Interesting fact Oliver reed (proximo) actually died from heart attack arm wresting American soldiers in a bar mid way through filming this that’s why they had to kill his character off if you notice it’s not actually him in the scene
Think the heart attack was from the obscene amount of alcohol he drank he was known to drink like a fish
If you like this I really really encourage you to check out Russel Crow in Master and Comander. Hands down one of the greatest movies ever
Second this!
I hope to see a first time reaction to Alien (1979) and The Thing (1982) the greatest sci-fi horror movies ever created and Aliens (1986) the greatest sci-fi action and horror movie ever created and Jaws (1975) and Alligator (1980) the greatest creature feature movies ever created as well:).
"It is natural and beautiful that a man should love his sister." King Foltest of Temeria.
Please do braveheart next. You'll love it
The soundtrack was awesome
the princess drugged him throughout this whole movie, thats why she always asks or tells him to sleep. because he was unhinged from the get go
It won best picture and 5 Oscars...Director , Music and actors all FIVE STARS..2001
That score at the end? Of course it had to be Hans Zimmer, he's a genius
Good reaction 😎
He finally got to go home.
Good reaction
What's up bro I'm new to your channel if you haven't seen it yet you should watch split staring James mcovy epic movie just throwing it out there
Thank You, I'll add it to the list, and also welcome to the Channel
Good reactions from you but bruv, do something with heavily blurred footage. I know yt copyright stuff is tough bitch to deal with but we want to watch actual movie too😁
Carlito's Way
❤❤❤
The tigers were CGI ... and IMO that was a bit too much, because you would have to import them from India or (very unlikely) Russia ... which would make them prohibitively expensive. Getting lions would be relatively cheap in comparison, because the Nile OR along the coastline of Africa would make it much easier/CHEAPER.
Nope. The tigers are real 90% of the time. You can watch about it in the making of documentaries on one of the DVDs. I actually was just watching it last week!
Caesar Germanicus was not king, he was an emperor. And no "general" was just a regular guy in Rome. Roman Emperors are made of Imperial Legates aka "generals" and powerful senators, not princes. This is why it was an empire, not monarchy/kingdom and not republic.
Greatest movie to ever be made

just dont look at like an historical film. its very inaccurate, but its epic.

Bro, the script was in the history books. This is how Rome was and what happened but it also fell. America was set up to be a whole lot like Rome A Republic but as we all know, every Monarch , government, kingdom, all Fall. And I do believe this is what's happening to America. It's happening the very same way, over immigration, the will then fight in oir military and Since they have no ties to america being an immagree , things happen and the u s will fall

Cowboys who spend all day riding horses will have multiple to swap out throughout the day.
Commodus is honestly one of the best villains in any movie. He was relatable, in a way. All he wanted was to be loved, and he was constantly denied that. It fueled his descent into tyranny, like a wicked cycle, or a positive feedback loop, or however you want to phrase it. As terrible as he was, he was also very human. In many movies these days, the villains are powerful and the hero has to struggle against them. Here, the villain had to struggle against the hero. He had to cheat in order to have a chance against the hero. And it still wasn't enough.
Where’s the Django reaction?
I always sort of accepted Collins speech on his father letter about virtues. But I never connected that with Maximus's family hung and you saying "is this what your ambition motivates you to?" What a hypocrite he was being. I mean he killed his father right after that his speech so Im not paying attention I guess!
we cant even see it man wtf
300??
It's already on the channel. I watched it a few weeks back
I stopped watching your reaction to "Gladiator" because it was TOO BLURRY to see the movie scenes you were describing!
smh. they look nothing alike.
