  • It's time to take the A3 on it's winter holiday to Badger 5!
Slightly odd to be sending it away, but it's in safe hands for some MAJOR surgery and will be back soon for plenty of fun in 2022.

That VRT sounds mint. Can’t believe you stopped there, I was just getting into my toast 😂 Look forward to seeing the results 😎👍 Can you elaborate on why Ignitron is better than eg EMU Black for a 1.8T. I’m getting a Black in a couple of months so keen to hear your thoughts bud 😎👍

IECU is designed specifically around the 1.8t rather than being a more generic aftermarket ECU... generally speaking its one of the only aftermarket ECU's that starts off the basefile first time... most aftermarket stuff needs quite a lot of messing about to get the cold start mapping sorted which any tuner will know is not the most fun in the world..
Also... the S3 VRT in the video also runs IECU as it supports up to 8 injectors and 6cyls... single lambda and boost control for one valve obvs but on a VRT thats all you need :)

Slightly off topic Nick, I've never seen you utilize the jacking points you incorporated into sills when you fitted new ones , any reason why ?
