While 7:04 could be Madame Hydra, I feel like Zemo would take on the Hydra representative. With Episode 5 ending with Genosha destroyed, it all started with a party which seemed inspired by the Hellfire Gala which was attacked by Orchis Sentinels.
What other villains could Bastion have been speaking to? Could Attuma/Namor have been present?
Will the X-Men find out about the Xavier Protocols?

Since Magneto is declaring global war, I can see them using a lot more Marvel characters in the next two episodes. It would make sense for SHIELD and the Avengers to be involved if Magneto is going to war against all the nations of the world.

That's all well and good, but it's still the X-Men's show. Take note of how they've used Cap, Doom and Zemo. There are always ways to say Avengers, SHIELD, etc. are fighting some mutants aligned with Magneto in one location while 95% of the focus stays on the X-Men. It's not impossible, but don't get your hopes too high you'll be seeing a full crossover of other teams.
This show just keeps getting better and better!

Brandon was ON ONE this episode with all the zingers and bits. Had me crying laughing for 30 minutes straight 😂
There are some breakroom episodes that are good. Most of them. And then there are episodes where certain people get together and things go OFF THE RAILS. This is one of those episodes. Hysterical!

Pretty sure the implication is that all those human/nimrod hybrids died after they were transformed. They just seemed like mindless drones controlled by Bastion after that point.

Regarding the Gooing, Bastion stated that he lured people in that felt disillusioned, in fear of replacement, afraid, etc. but that they weren't told what would be done to them. So I'm sure Trish and others could have had minor gripes or mere curiosity and be lumped in all the same with people with major hate in their hearts for mutants to be gooed without any consent or knowledge of being turned into a killer cyborg.
I love how the grandma was a mix of Killa Grannie and the Mom from It 2 ..perfect

This episode was soo good.
This is the first time I'm giving an episode of the show 5/5. Episode 5 was a 4.5 and I thought that was the peak for the show until now. The pacing felt good. This being a 3 parter helps I think. The best thing of this episode.. Wolverine FINALLY got something to do. He has been completely wasted this entire season until now.
I'm also VERY happy that they gave him the fight scene with Nightcrawler and not Morph. I've always loved Wolverine and Nightcrawler friendship.
I hope this isn't the only Wolverine basassery we see though. I want more!!

Spiderman showing up was cool.. I was sort of hoping we would have seen more heroes just reacting, but I'll take it.
Oh, Dr. Doom, Zemo, Silver Samurai and Omega Red!! Other "cameos".. not sure but was Bastion also talking to Killmonger and Madame Hydra? (I thought maybe Tyger Tiger? but Madame Hydra makes more sense) Interesting scene with heads of state. I was looking for Namor as well, but couldn't find him.
And the end.. "To me my X-Men!" YES!!! I am so excited for Episodes 9 and 10!!

Cable was also in Genosha during the original X-Men series so I think that freeing Genosha in that arc was the only thing he could change.
The Gala and the massacre happens no matter what he does though
My take before a lot of the show started to seem less like a time reset would save Magneto was always that even if we get a time episode, the outcome would always come out worse as long as Gambit survived, so he'd ultimately sacrifice himself again to save the most people possible. Despite Genosha itself not being reversed different people would die and others would live, leading to Magneto and Madelyne's survival. Now that we got Magneto surviving on his own, I'm less inclined to believe they'd do it just to get Madelyne back.
Either way, we still have other options for at least 4 mutants to be returned to us, as Horsemen of Apocalypse.

@@MrRobinson758 I mean the regular everyday people connected to life support or in planes had no say in what the powers that be did or didn't do lol. I'm sure some of them hate mutants but some of them definitely don't, they got wiped out all the same. Magneto didn't really have a choice in the matter because he had to stop the sentinels from killing more mutants, but let's not act like he _didn't_ just kill millions of people who are essentially collaterol damage in the mutant-human conflict and not directly responsible for all the shit that mutants deal with.
@@Lisa_Flowers Regular non combative mutants died on Genosha too. Most of which just wanted to escape to a place where they could be themselves without worrying about hateful humans. They’re also collateral damage. I mean we could “tit for tat” this all day, but the fact remains, everything started with hateful humans. The attacks on mutants and the lack of assistance after. Every life Magneto took was the result of that. The government could’ve shut it down (at least tried to) or provided some REAL help after. They chose not to in both instances. That’s indisputable fact. Simply put, it’s all the humans fault. No attack on Genosha, no attack by Magneto.

I went nuts when Nightcrawler was using the swords against the sentinel zombies. So lit to see my favourite Marvel character being a badass. It’s nice that they show how cool he can be because throughout the moments he’s been on screen so far, he’s been giving these very amazing life lessons to the others. I like that we get to see how much fun he brings in combat. That mid teleportation scene was awesome. Can’t wait to see what happens next! 😁💙🖤❤️
We only got to see Spider-Man's hand/wrist webbing a civilian to safety in the original series so it's actually super cool to see the whole actual character this time around! 🙌🏽🕷🕸

I have a feeling that they were taken and goo’d as you say against their will, but since they were wiped, so they don’t remember in order to use them as plants because Bastian would know who is a mutant and not sure he knew Roberto was a mutant so he had the Butler as a plant just in case because of beast she was a plant

Storm has fr been BIG chillin. She could've used lightning as natural EMPs to knock out those sentinels, instead of Magneto causing all that collateral damage you guys were talkin about

But NO way would the real Doctor Valerie Cooper be working with Mister Sinister (Sinister trusting Val enough to reveal to her that he's also using Bastion) so I think she may turn out to be Mystique who will transform & fùck shït up/ save the day in an even more dramatic & dire moment.
When Eric was going on about how ‘we’ all know Dr Val Cooper was Mystique I rolled my eyes and added my reply saying I really don’t think it is and listed several reasons including Wolverine being able to smell the difference and the three telepaths being able to tell and lastly her not being identified as a mutant by the Sentinel during the attack- but that rumor persisted and I was thinking …Mephisto!
I’m so glad I was right and Dr Val Cooper was just Val! Val in the comics put together Xfactor and she had some good story arch’s of betrayal so I just thought it would be more interesting having her be herself so I applaud Beau for that!
MAGNETO WAS RIGHT- that final speech that she did was poignant and summed up some of our troubles today quite well!

@@Jumpoable the real Val Cooper in the comic betrayed the team too and have affiliations with people that were connected to sentinel programs so it’s not that far a reach. My interpretation is that it’s been settled and that Val is Val based on the last episode and comments Beau has been liking on Twitter
No matter how funny this episode is, the most amazing thing about it is Jessica's perfect hair!
These children have been driven MAD by Episode 8. But I loved the unhinged conversation, especially the X and the City fanfic.

Did Professor X arrive right on time? Idk, he's gonna bring us right back to square one. 2nd Magneto is right only because Bastian pushed him over the edge. Bastian is the 2nd to do so. Remember, at the end of the original series, Magneto "snapped" but stood down because his best friend was dying.

In the comics didn’t Baston open up health clinics to infect people? It would be easy to infect people without society knowing. Health clinics, spas, public showers for the poor/homeless. It is possible. Put it in the food and drinks.

I don't think Hank activated them. I think Bastion's mom was the trigger, cause Bastion knew they were going to go there and find her... I just think it was happening at the same time as Beast's discover because if he found out before he could have warned them.

If the idea of the Prime sentinel is true to the comics once you become a prime sentinel, that’s it you’re done there’s no reverting back to being a human again. That does not necessarily mean they can do some weird shit that they get humanity back.

I'm confused about Dr. Cooper...is she not Mystique? If she isn't, how is she not a mutant? When she gave her 'Magneto was right speech' she said things like 'we' when talking about how most mutants deal with shit like genosha every day and still have to go to work every morning. That and her literally saying Magneto was right is really giving 'i'm a mutant' lol.
