- When I see these studio clips from the past I’m reminded of a good, old saying, “Don’t be afraid of trying something new, be afraid of not trying something new.” In the end, I don’t think I used any of those performances or instruments on the final tracks…but I tried! #Flashback

Cool #9, no matter how it is played, is still an absolute BEAST of a tune
That song is the reason I own a Whammy pedal
I love these 'being a fly on the wall in the studio' videos where you hear the songs not yet in their fully final incarnations.
In my opinion 1995 is best album of all Joe Satriani discography.
I have all CD's of JS, but only 95 is something very special, nonthing like before and nothing after.
This album is just magical of it's mood.Very raw and natural sound.
After this album I started to play guitar and bought rariest japanees Ibanez JS700.
I love ❤️ him.
One of the coolest guitar 🎸 player of all times 😏😏😏
I want to surfing 🏄♂️ with the alien 👽
So amazing to see these behind the scenes studio takes. Thank you Joe Satriani for this and for always giving us incredible music to get lost in.
The OJ trial is an amazing touchstone. I know exactly what I was up to. Thanks for sharing all of this.
Yes! It really take you back to that moment.
That’s some awesome bluesy/twangy stuff that Joe should release!
Rock is great in the morning, for me for 100%
Very best music
Joe behind the scene, Always interesting !!! thanks...
This is one of my favorite Joe albums. He redefined his sound and style of recording . He shed the 80’s
I love these videos and I am glad that they are releasing them now . All my childhood in those tunes!!!!
Joe, it's perfect, good old analogue, heavenly tones, the filing, the feeling, just great 🤓🎸🥁👍 Thank you
Moooore🤘🤘🤘
Joe will always be the master guitar song writer to my ears! Forever Joe!
So great... One of the best records ever from Joe... Both Andy and Glyn Johns did something very good for Joe, and John Cuniberti is a cornerstone in his early career... Looking forward to see Joe again this spring i Denmark...
MORE!! I love this! Is there anything from the Time Machine recordings?
Yay Joe! TYVM for sharing! 🤗✌️❤️🦋🙏
JOE, you are my inspiration to play guitar
Tell you something this makes me feel a whole lot better about the process I go through with tracks too! Thanks for the insight Joe. 👍
Bring back my teenage memories right on, that Joe Satriani album was groovy enjoyable af.
This is a masterpiece of electric guitar music! Magic!
Wow! It's my favorite album!!! Great!
Amazing! I love Joe Satriani! My inspiration on the guitar!
rock, jazz, techno, i want to see a metal JS album!
Cool #9 is one of my favorite and the whole album is great!
My all time fav album
Love seeing the fabled 58’ Fender Esquire! Wish there were more videos of him playing it.
Awesome old-school video , thank you Joe 👏👍🤘
I love (You're) My World!
Awesome! I would love to see some of these tracks released!
Fantastiikkk ok sempre viva il rock 🎸🎸🎸
YES!👍🤟😎🔥💜🌍
Exciting to see more Satriani from his era having hair. There's a surprising dearth of material (video wise) recorded during that earlier part of his career.
Hair almost gone look bald spot all over his head thats why the year after he shaved it
Wow. I'm now the same age as Joe in this video and I remember being a kid absolutely devouring this record, and seeing the clip from the OJ trial... what a time warp. Awesome to see behind the scenes of music that was so important and influential to me, I'm forever thankful that Joe was my role model growing up, I mean it was the 90's I had quite the choice of characters to choose from :), he really was a great influence for a teenager. Thanks for sharing, Joe! Stay Satchurated my friends.
That's crazy to watch Satch watching the OJ trial... no wonder he wrote such killer riffs....
Joe Satriani, I consider you the best person alive in the world 🤩
First time heard him i was 16", today i am 53 years old and he is still my hero "not for one day"but for a lifetime
Almost same year here
The first song in this video sounds amazing. Wish I could hear the whole thing.
Keep these videos coming Joe! We love to see the passion you put into the studio.
Oh! I figured it out. It’s “Moroccan Sunset”. Wow it was changed quit a bit.
😅🔥🔥🔥👍🤘
so young! but so brillant, so awesome.
I am reading Joe's book these days and those clips pop out!👍
Love this
This was really cool to see!
So cool! Thank you for sharing!
supercool 👍
such a precious video...thanks Joe !!
Thanks for another great behind the scenes - please, please keep 'em coming ! It's great to hear the raw versions of these tracks. l can only imagine the reward one feels after so much hard work, when it's all finally pulled together & finalized ! Love Joe !
05:15 i like the sound here more than on the final album.
You're My World is very very cool, my fav track with Cool and If ;
Interresting to see Joe working, he is human and spending time SEARCHING and WORKING.
The Goat
Some kind of magic
Joe, you did use the last track at the end of this video on "Cool #9 alternate version", and it is awesome!
I swear Jeff Campitelli is the best drummer ever.
You're are an amazing artist ! God bless you Joe !
@Joe Satriani Thank you so much ! What's the prize I won ? ))
Thank you so much ! What's the price I won ? ))
✨🎸✨
Would love to hear an alternate version of the 95 S/T album.
Always tasty stuff Joe. Big energy behind a beautiful melody. It's your legacy. Jake. Wait..@ 3 mins- Yeah!!!! Love the white ibanez and gorgeous tones, that song takes me elsewhere!
Showwww
Really surprising Joe's using his Kramer Pacer at that point. I thought he hated that guitar, lol.
He mentioned the high E had a tone that worked better on those early records.
Cool #9 was made on chips and orange juice, now how COOL is that! 😊
👍🏻
👍👍👍👍👍🤟🎸
Great stuff I love this! but... Anything from the extremist album?
#Tahun 95 Joesat msih menggunakan Gitar Yg bermacam macam Merk???hahaha...®
Wow, I always thought he actually used the black guitar from the album art. 😄
What?
Nuansanya dapat banget
Where’s the pro tools at? 😂
👽🎸🎶
👽
Is that a white kramer pacer with an ibanez sticker on the headstock?
God has three letters, Ito has three letters. Can't be a coincidence !
#Kerja keras Joesat DKK, pikiran, tenaga Dan imajinasi yah tdk mengecewakan hingga terlahir yah 3G Dan Solo Gitar???hahaha...®
What brand of amp head is that next to him during Cool #9?
Anyone?!
What is the song in the beginning?
What model is that white Ibanez?
if you’re talking about the guitar at 3:03 its not an ibanez, thats his kramer pacer he used on not of this earth & surfing with the alien someone just put a ibanez logo on the headstock and if you look closely you can kind of make out where the kramer logo used to be
Which song it is at 2:23?
Anyone else notice the O.J. Simpson trial on the TV?
4:30 that whammy pedal tone is gorgeous! doesn't sound digital at all, what is it?!
At the time, probably would have been the original Digitech Whammy pedal.
@@outlaw454070907 same used by Gilmour I guess. Tried the new version a few years ago, sounded like a Tamagotchi
@@FrancescoDiMauro The older models and newer ones in classic mode aren't particularly good at shifting multiple notes at the same time, kinda glitches out a bunch. The two that I have had sound great otherwise.
In 1995 just yesterday??? Ok where's the time Machine.
so you're telling me My World was recorded with a kramer pacer?
never heard the first song
@Joe_satriani2 Thank you so much ! What's the prize I won ? ))
Thanks a lot !!! What's my prize ?? :)
@Joe_satriani2 Thank you very much !! What kind of model ??
Songs 0:00 - 0:36?
Why not Collab with Arnel Pineda for vocals ?
🇺🇦
OJ seems to be a theme here 😂 🍊
WOW IN 1995 you can See how joe satrianie balding got attack baldly from 1994 to 1995 in done in 1996
Any part of this era without Glyn Johns’ involvement is the best part. Time Machine and Crystal Planet sandwiched his muddy production of the 1995 album.
