My history teacher made watching the debate an assignment, and he was gonna give us a test afterwards. Immediately after though, he sent out an email apologizing and telling us we didn't have to do anything else. That's how bad this was

I have never understood why microphones aren't muted while the other person speaks during debates, it seems like such an elementary solution to end interruptions from opponents and clarify each candidates message.
Unfortunately, trump takes advantage of this weakness in every debate he ever attends- to the audience's detriment.

There was, for DPAN Tv. They had three interpreters. One for each person. My friends who watched were able to follow the interpreters, but the whole thing was a hot mess. The interpreters were top notch but the event was bananas.
