Heir Apparent.. brutal.. so so good.. took me a bit to understand how and why Coil is such a perfect first song for watershed.. the lyrics set the tone for the whole album. All about breakup and loss and all those emotions.. hash tag like no band ever 💀❤️🙏🏻
They work well together.
Thank you.
Another great song pair that you must hear one day is by the band Caligula's Horse, and the songs are Bloom and Marigold. You will not be disappointed.
Hey Max, thanks for the suggestion!
Thank you!
The 'current band' members -
Mikael Åkerfeldt/vocals, lyricist, also lead guitar & acoustics, composer and overall master of everything he does.
Fredrik Åkesson also lead guitar
Martin Mendez - bass
Drums - Martin Axenrot
Joakim Svalberg- keyboards/mellotron
That helps, thank you. These are all new names in the music world to me.
@@MusicWithToddLedbetter You're welcome. Glad to help.
There have been many changes since their beginning, but it's too much for me to recall correctly.
@@floridabelle i see you in the comments below every opeth reaction video XD
@@omkarbharambe8673 Yeah, you might say I'm obsessed. 😁
@@floridabelle yeah well, same here :)
Greetings, it's alway nice to discover someone else with whom I can somehow share a listening time to good music, thank you for offering your perspective on these two tracks. If you have time, given that you are able to appreciate Opeth both in their harsh and their mellow moments, I'd recommend a reaction to Ne Obliviscaris - And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope, I think that it could be a very nice discovery for you.
God bless!
Great to have you here Peter, Thank you very much for the suggestions. I am loving all sides of Opeth, such an amazing group.
🤘🙏 heavy!
👌🤘😉
Watch em live at Red Rocks...Ghost of Perdition 🙏🙏
Will do, thanks John.
Haha, the song is actually in E standard. But I can see why it sounds detuned when the track is this heavy!
