My Audi r8 is in rough shape. After spending months in a salvage auction lot. It’s finally time to put this Audi r8 back together. In order to fix my Audi r8, I am going to needs lots of parts though. Luckily, I found what I needed for my Audi r8 on eBay motors.
Now with all my parts sourced. I just need to put all the pieces of the puzzle together to get my Audi r8 back on the road. There is one slight problem though. This Audi r8 needs frame work. Luckily I know just the person to call for some beautiful aluminum welding on my Audi r8 frame. Once that’s complete, it’s as simple as bolting all the parts back on my Audi r8. Or is it?

Great choice of colour on the wheels, they look so good and the interior choices are sweet. The front and back trims not matching would annoy me, could probably get the rear trim wrapped quite easily?

You can buy the oem front
frame rail assembly from overseas without issue. I bought it brand new from the factory for my 2017 R8 v10. Cost 12k but worth it. It’s a perfect fit and welds precisely into the bulkhead sleeves. You can certainly do it the way you are doing it but body panel alignment will be very difficult to get back to eom. Good luck.

The one you have looks like one of there steering wheels and might be able to help with fixing the issues you are having with it or make you another one. Can do all kinds of colors and style. Great video. I've been an eBay user since 2000 and I swear I have saved 10 grand or more getting good used parts there. For instance, scored a PAIR of used OEM mufflers for my G37 for $35 bucks. Local yards wanted $175 each.

that hood latch is truly a pain. make sure you don’t switch the connector for the hood latch and the emergency latch. They’re very similar. Had that happen to me and left me confused. With the frame you really should’ve put all the panels on to test fit them because it’s really hard to get good fitment but good luck with the build 💪🏾
