I have this boat. My wife and I got tired of loading and unloading our hard sided canoe on the truck roof. This boat is much easier to pack store and transport. It’s also extremely stable. Love it!
Really cool that there's a center seat position for one person to paddle without raising the bow out of the water. I'd have mentioned the shark fin skeg where I image a Bixpy motor can have that thing zipping even more effortlessly. Love how the thing looks like a canoe. If I hadn't looked pretty carefully at the canoe before I bought my Fasttrack 465, I might not realize that its drop stitch construction. I went with the Fasttrack due to it weighing less and can still seat three people comfortably. But I'm a canoe person. Always have been. And I might just need to get one of these too.
You're right! A mention of the Bixpy working easily with the Canoe would've been smart. Thanks for pointing that out. You can never go wrong with owning a different Sea Eagle boat for every occasion 😁 The FastTrack you have really is a great kayak though and works great in a variety of conditions. We appreciate the comment! If you ever have photos of your kayak before sure to send them in to our Instagram or Facebook. Cheers!
Wow! Awesome video. Been following Cliff for years. Great to see the collaboration. The manatee shot was really. This video makes me really want to leave the chilly mid Atlantic and take a trip down to Florida.
We love to hear that! You're always welcome to grab a Sea Eagle and come on down to warmer weather. It was awesome meeting up with Cliff for a few adventures. We will definitely do more in the future. Cheers!
As of right now we don't have plans for a smaller model. A lot of our customer who want something smaller go with one our kayaks like the explorer series which is great for rivers and white water.
I own a TC 16, all 3 seats are removable, but they don't make a proprietary yoke for the boat. I contacted them and they mentioned getting one custom made would be my best option. Additionally, the center seat position wouldn't be in the best spot for a yoke because it wouldn't quite be in the center, but u can add attachment points to it with pvc patches. I don't really know if that's the right way to explain it, but that's how all the d rings on the boat are attached, with a glued on patch, they can hold plenty of weight.
This canoe offers 2 bow handles and 2 center handles for portage. Some other features are 4 drain valves, fits up to 3 people, traditional canoe seats and many more.
Living the dream Gentlemen! Thank you for the video, and of the Manatees!
Kyak Cliff is Jesus he’s walking 🚶♂️ on water 😂

We love to hear that! It truly does make things much easier to quickly inflate once you get to the location. Cheers!

Is there a smaller version of this on the horizon? Perhaps 12-14ft? Something big enough for 2 or 1 and a bunch of cargo?

Nice! Great video from Alex and Kayak Cliff.
Can the center seat be removed and replaced with a yolk?

Is there a portage setup for the boat?

@@SeaEagleBoats so, that means no? Do you offer a yoke for portage?
