Man, after Black Myth Wukong's success, I really hope that the developers are now even more motivated to make it a fantastic game. Chinese, Japanese and Korean devs are immensely shaping the future of gaming.

I think the pc version to be released in mainland China on 7/26 in just over a month, and I suppose its international release would follow shortly afterwards, especially they had ran some closed data tests last month outside China. release on consoles shouldn't be that far-off...

On PC we've had dozens already thanks to Steam in English, for those fluent in Chinese there are hundreds. Chinese gaming devs have been pumping out Wuxia games on it for over a decade.
chinese games lack substance. Their devs focus too much on sexualising their characters & glorifying the typical wuxia BS instead of making a solid game. That's why Many Great games have always been either Western (Largely US) or Japanese.

Problem with this Wuxia games is that they feel japanese, the weight of the characters, the lack of mobility, the primacy of the impact while the martial arts are non present, the dance and Grace on thw combat are lacking, this does not seem like a Wuxia movie or product this seems like a Japanese game in China, honestly Wo Long has a better approach to weight, choreography and has weapon variety.

the Chinese know how to make games, not because of the graphics, but what i see is actually a game that looks FUN. it looks like they will save gaming. also to have an action game that can be played with keyboard and mouse mainly is a plus.

Wuxia in a video game is a concept I'd never really considered, but I'm very interested in seeing how this turns out.

It's a Chinese game, so natualy ign will give it a 5/10, which will automatically be one of the best games we will play in the last 4 years combined.

@@dennissimons339 you cant tell? the game definitely looks cool, but it looks very unoptimized and choppy especially during the heavy combat moments, its improved since the trailer they released a while back but its still there, couple that with the fact that they are probably showing this off on a computer that is much better the average persons , the itll probably feel even choppier for someone on a pc with more average specs
