    My first 500 off the show room floor. So fast it took a year before I was able to control that bike without fear . Now I wish I had one great job on that bike

    This has to be one of the best rebuilds in stock condition I’ve seen. Very impressive, I’d love to find a 94 KX 125 like I had back in the day and rebuild it

    Man I got to say you did an awesome job restoring that 89 CR500 what an absolute Widow Maker of a bike. I owned an 85 CR500 and I wish I would have never gotten rid of it I now own an 89 CR250 which I absolutely love looking forward to your next videos

    89 is my favorite year for those monsters. We get a lot of resto work in my OHV shop, the 80s CRs, KXs, and RMs are my favorites. Great vid!

    That's a real man.......kicking a CR500 with a New Balance! I learned to ride on a 1983 CR480 at age 14. My first brand new bike was a 1988 YZ250. Well done resto sir. Thanks for bringing back memories.

    Try cleaning up the plastic, then heat it up, it will shine like new... frkn awesome job bud, I love doing ground up testis on old dirt bikes, it's therapeutic.

    Still have my 85. Wanted the 84, but my dad always said never buy 1st year and glad I didn't. Wicked fast went from the 250r to this, and it scared the crap out of me. Took a few months to get used to. These days, I ride a crf450l and watch my grandsons race, the r versions. But I definitely prefer my Goldwing these days. Amazing work!!!!

    I just had to see the shots where you’re wearing a back brace to know how much work and how many countless hours you spent on your feet for this restoration. The finished product is amazing and flawless in every metric .     I had one of these I raced it every weekend for 2 years. I had it all done up full national team prep, even a lightened and re balanced crank It was my love and my 94 Cr 500 too. Those were the best bikes I ever owned.

    My buddy bought his 85 CR500 brand new and I was always jealous of how he would talk about the unboxing and setup he and his dad did. I’m sure it looked just like yours after he was done. My 86 was used when I bought it. We had great times on those machines!
