Being a Gators and Bulls fan I can say he is one of my all time favorite players. His hard work, determination, and hustle was unmatched. It was a pleasure to watch him play. I wish more NBA players played as hard as he did.
He met the right coach at the right time. Him and Thibodeau are just match made in heaven. I truly think Noah is one of few bigs that can survive in any era, even in today's era his passing and defensive versatility would flourish in one team.
As much as I agree with the match, their like-mindedness also may have been toxic for his career. All of those great players on the Bulls had short primes other than Jimmy, I think that had to do with heavy minutes & tough practices.
@@johndavis9321 I think their roles within their teams are the same, but I think they are different players. Noah was less versatile, but a probably a better rim protector and rebounder. Dray clears Joakim in 3-level defense, playmaking, and can hit timely 3’s. (I’m a Bulls fan and a huge Joakim Noah fan btw, not hating)
Did you ever see the kid shoot, was horrible. That many years playing ball and you can't figure out how to shoot better than that. Terrible work ethic apparently.
Man, I really thought that 2010/2011 Bulls team would eventually reach the top. Just goes to show how hard it is to even come close and stay there, especially when the injury bug starts.
Thank you for this video. Noah was and always will be one of my favorite players ever. But one of the things I loved as much as his energy was how he and Lebron seriously seriously hated each other. And of course you can't forget the infamous "I mean whats so good about Cleveland? I never hear anybody say Oh Im going on vacation in Cleveland"
Loved this video. My dad and I made a bet about who was going to be a better big. I picked Noah and my dad picked the guy who the Bucks drafted. Within two years, that bet was over. Great content!
Great video, i hated Noah but its because he was a pest on D and always gave my team fits. Pretty cool to see a guy who grew up so privileged still have all that drive and put in all the hard work.
I was really a big fan of Noah. That Florida team that they had was so fun to watch. Dude gives it all his night in and night out. His shot formation was Hella weird but he would make em. Dude ran the floor, was able to score and wore out his opponents because he did not give up on defense.
People forget that those D Rose Bulls team ran through Joakim at the elbow. He orchestrated that offense and was the anchor of the defense. One of the original big man passing savants..... Couldn't shoot worth a dam outside of 3 feet, but that just meant he was always good for a laugh too
Great job at pumping these mini-docs out! TIL Joakim Noah's daddy's rich and his momma's beautiful... Interesting to see those roots on guy known for his hustle and passion.
A great college player, who wasn't quite as good in the NBA, but still a quality player. I would equate him to Draymond Green. If I was building a team that had explosive scoring guards, I'd want Noah anchoring my front court.
Joakim and Marc Gasol was like Jokic big men that can pass since back then only the guards and sometimes small forwards run the offense now any position can run the offense
is it weird that i model my game after him im decently tall and not that coordinated and not that skilled, copying his defemnsive stance actualy helped me a lot keeping up with the iso dudes during pick up today
The best player in Wizards history was like a better version Joakim Noah his name was Wes Unseld won MVP and finals MVP just stats weren’t overwhelming similar to Joakim but his intelligence and hustle, passing, rebounding and screening were elite
Even tho I knew he was good, I laughed at him when he was at Florida then he became one of my favorite players in the NBA. He had a lot of heart and was really good.
@@swishcountyproductions I’m mostly talking about the sound you used when showing stat-lines. It’s not so bad now that I’m rewatching the video with a speaker, but when I first watched it with earbuds I found it grading a painful. Just some feedback. An example of what I’m talking about is at around the 2:05 minute mark.
When I was a kid and played 2k on the ps3 I’d play my league and any team that I would pick I would have him as my center glad to see him get his respect for once
Noah one of the most overrated players ever, this video is evidence of that. Dude was not a threat on the offensive end, he was a role player that people act like was a star
As a Vols fan I hated Noah in college. Once he got into the pros and he wasnt a villain for my team, he became one of my favorite to watch. Love that dude.
I remember watching him at Florida and was happy when we drafted him. Sure he was limited offensively, but he worked hard all the time and played lockdown defense. Those matchups with the Heat should’ve gone deeper.
Bro i was at the basketball game in Jacksonville the first round of the 2006 tournament. My dad freind worked for the team and I got all their signatures on one ball. I will never let that thing go.
Joakim Noah was one of those guys you love to have on your team, but hate to play against. I'm just glad that he played for the Bulls.
Exactly, couldn’t stand him as an outsider haha
When he played for the gators was the pinnacle of gators sports, it’s been all downhill since then. Lol
He was always so goofy I would not be scared to play against him out of all people 😂
I am a Pelicans fan and I loved him and that Bulls team with D. Rose, Deng, Nate, Gibson.
couldnt of said it better myself. my fav chicago bull ever
Joakim Noah being 4th in MVP votes avtually made my jaw drop...

Bulls nation forever loves Joakim both on and off the floor. He’s done a lot of great work for the communities in Chicago.

Amazing content man! I remember him being “decent” after watching this you realize how good he was 💪🏾

He had a decent mid ranger in that one year he was 4th in mvp, just was never able to hit it after that
Really nice and insightful video about a underrated player and the evolution of modern NBA Basketball
guys like joakim don’t exist anymore smh
Great job at pumping these mini-docs out! TIL Joakim Noah's daddy's rich and his momma's beautiful... Interesting to see those roots on guy known for his hustle and passion.
Thanks for watching man glad you enjoyed! I was surprised to learn that as well, would’ve been the last guy I would guess to grow up loaded
Love your videos brother. Been binge watching for the past 4 nights keep it up! Seen you grow from 13k to 15.2 in a week it’s awesome. Keep going
Preciate that a lot man thanks for the support!!
At one point, one of the best defensive bigs for a few years and a great energy guy
Just imagine Noah and Dennis Rodman on the court at the same time. RIP interior offense.
Elite on the perimeter too
HOF MAN WAS GREAT DAYS WHEN WE HAD HIM ❤❤❤💯💯💯💯💯💯 AND ALMOST MVP
super underrated bro been binging your vids
Means a lot thanks man!!!
I’ve been binge watching your videos, you def earned yourself a loyal fan. Thanks for the hard work !
Glad you enjoyed man your support means a lot👊
Drose was the mvp of those thibs teams but jo was 100% the beating heart and personification of that squad
fierce competitor. Man amongst boys
love your videos man 👏🔥
Preciate that man, thank you!!!
Been said a thousand times, If he wasn't on your team... you hated him, but if he was... you loved that fire in him.
I always admired his engine
You probably wont see this but for me it fell like he fell off so fast but that may be because of how young i was during his prime
He fell off in one year, that is really fast, he had a knee injury and never recovered
Bulls fan here, great video
Appreciate it!!!
9:28 you didn’t have to do Noah like that 😂😂😂
lmao the fact that that guy was an MVP candidate is still mind blowing to me
ngl i been binging your videos and youve earned my sub. keep up the good work fam
Glad u enjoyed man, thanks for the support
His 2014 season is the type of season I expected Draymond to have when Steph n Klay was injured but he didn’t.
Here to bless your page bro. Every time I follow a sports doc page they blow up. Let’s hope this trend continues. Would love to work together one day
Rich kid who played blue collar basketball. So much respect for him.
You should do a video on Danny Granger people forget how good he was before the injuries also Brandon Roy would be dope
Will definitely get to both at some point
Underrated Career.
2014 Noah with Giannis level athleticism is basically what Bill Russell would look like in the modern game.
Really felt like I was watching a summoningsalt video about Joakim Noah
The goat

You're such an underrated channel man I fuck with your videos heavy. Keep up the good work 🙏🏿
Preciate that man thank you!!!
Bro I really love your channel. You make vids on underrated players. PLEASE MAKE A BREVIN KNIGHT VIDEO. He was such a good playmaker
Preciate ya man means a lot
You should do a video on Ricky Davis.
Joakim and Marc Gasol was like Jokic big men that can pass since back then only the guards and sometimes small forwards run the offense now any position can run the offense
Joakim Noah will always be part of Chicago!
He had heart. Played with all his might too. Bulls LEGEND for sure.
Fun fact: Joakim Noah's dad, Yannick, won the 1983 French Open
The league today lacks dudes who truly love the game like Kobe, KG and Joakim
They love the flashy side of it...
That's the son of the famous tennis player.
Great vid
Can you upload some of your game tapes ? I’m tryna see something 😂
Chicago legend
Good vids bro
is it weird that i model my game after him im decently tall and not that coordinated and not that skilled, copying his defemnsive stance actualy helped me a lot keeping up with the iso dudes during pick up today
Dude was as garbage, but had tremendous heart and hustle.
finishin top within top 5 in mvp race.
DPOY.
triple double machine when it was at its rarest.
still trash.
summoning salt wants his theme song back ... ^^ ...
Underrated
Holy crap. I didn't know the dude from "Gym Class Heroes" played basketball too...
Love how you have comments off on the Jimmer video LOL
Did when it got copyrighted to hell unfortunately
@@swishcountyproductions I figured it was because BYU crazies came for you XD
Nah everyone comes for my neck in every video lol getting used to it
@@swishcountyproductions bro that’s sports. No one wants a conversation everyone is just angry lol
Yeah gotta filter through it lol
He was GOAT for destroying the City of Cleveland in that press conference.
As a bulls fan he's the people's champ
The best player in Wizards history was like a better version Joakim Noah his name was Wes Unseld won MVP and finals MVP just stats weren’t overwhelming similar to Joakim but his intelligence and hustle, passing, rebounding and screening were elite
yea but he shot foul shots like he was in the wnba
💀
Whats the closing song?
HOME- Were finally landing
Even tho I knew he was good, I laughed at him when he was at Florida then he became one of my favorite players in the NBA. He had a lot of heart and was really good.
Bro why did u turn off the comments on ur Jimmer fredette video !?
Got copyrighted to shit unfortunately, comments weren’t a good luck for a small channel
It’s so aggravating hearing you say limited skill set, and same breath his IQ was crazy….
No he was just awkward looking, but he was elite
Summoning Salt
Not very. The end
Ill admit i laughed at them thought they could use other stuff
Hustler
you think Cleveland is cool?
Love guys like you bro. “Probably rigged”. We need to hear the truth or what a lot of us think.
Dude was a Monster on D At Florida and the bulls.
Noah was just a taller version of draymond green. He really declined because he got hurt.
Green isn't a great shooter but he can shoot waaaaaay better than Noah ever could. Noah would airball free throws FFS!
He sounds like draymond
Stopped the video when you made the "lottery rigged" comment. If it was rigged, why would Tim Duncan and Wemby end up in the smallest market.
Good video, but the sound effects are earpiercing compared to your voice. Made kinda tough to listen to with earbuds.
U mean the transition sounds or what exactly?

My name is also Joakim :)
🔥🔥
Why does al horford seem like he's 10 years older than joakim
Dude idk it feels weird that he wasn't always like 28
Joakim Noah my guy. Just wish he shot better lol.

nah 😅 decent energy guy is all
We need a Cam Thomas video bro
Chill bro had like four good games lol
getting paid to not play means you're good?
Better than Greg Oden
Gotta respect too the fact that dude could have done nothing with his life and probably lived off his parents money until the end of time

Done!
Tbh I hated him as a player; still do.
