I went home and cried. Next job was a 12 hour a day vaccinating chickens at the farms along the Mexican border. We were allowed a flat of cracked eggs for free every day. I kept all my neighbors and my household in eggs for months 🤣🤣
My sisters first job was at Church’s and she bought home chicken AND jalapeño poppers. My cousins first job was at Papa John’s and he would bring home pizza. My first job was Walmart so I just used my employee discount for every one of my family members.

Ive been working since i was 13 years old working a cattle farm then after that summer youth program and so on. My mama struggled worked 3rd shift but we had what we needed a roof over our head food in our mouth but anything extra we wanted we wouldn't bother asking her we knew she wouldn't say no and just get a second job..so me and my sister got side jobs just to buy what we wanted. She was so proud of us..She never asked for a dime UNTIL we got grown😂 now its like she our child😂

In Closing that story line about being from a long line of witches he did a around Halloween had us LAUGHING til we stopped more of that sort of stuff please. @@neffyg35 What are talking about? This mom is teaching the kid responsibilities. There is no "attitude". That's real life. The kid can start acting as an adult one step at the time. Nothing wrong with that. Part of your salary goes to building a savings account, part of it goes to necessities and you can enjoy the rest for whatever brings you pleasure.

😂. So many memories. My momma was merciless about my first job in high school. I felt it when he said he was tired. I bet his mom was in his room bright and early and cheerful as hell reminding him about his chores, despite the 8 hour shift ending at 11:00p.m. This is the same mom who is 90 and I still do chores for.

I’ve known kids in high school who got fired for taking home food that was going to be thrown out. In most cities & states restaurants & fast food stores cannot give out food, to the homeless or needy, that would otherwise be thrown away, unless it’s uncooked & donated to a food pantry. Such a disgrace that food that could help feed the hungry has to instead end up in a landfill.
