- The Kansas City Royals defeat the New York Mets 4-1 to win the 2015 World Series. Led by clutch hitting and stellar defense the AL Champions provided their fans with a great cap to another great World Series.

The Royals outhit the Mets 37-30 over the series, committed only 1 error and outscored the Mets 27-19.

Mets had a lead in every game this series. Even had a run late in 3 of our losses. Lost two in extra innings. That's what made not winning the series tough.

I think the reason the royals won was because the coaching of the Mets in the ws was horrific, so many coaching errors including letting Harvey pitch that last inning cost most of their losses
After this last season, it’s weird to think that these two teams were competing in the WS a few years ago.

Mets bullpen is ass... Met's infield was questionable. Meanwhile Cespedes the big gun made two too many fielding mistakes and did do so hot. The Mets are a streaky team, when degrom got going around the allstar break It was really something. Earlier versus the cubs when Duda got hot, and cespedes has been cold this postseason. Murphy after that 6 HR streak has been cold. The Met's only hot player was Curtis Granderson... If the mets can cancel out some of that streakyness and build up a bullpen, Idk if they need cespedes. If they want to win now and lose the young arms in several years, get cespedes, but if you want to continue being a future team leave cespedes out who wants a multi million 6 year contract.

Everyone blames Wright or Duda. I blame Harvey. When your team is down 3-1 in the series, it's time to survive and advance--nothing more. Harvey pitching the 9th was showboating. That was game suicide against a team that capitalized on late-innings weaknesses.

But if you think about it, Familia had already blown 2 saves in the postseason. So, at the time, Harvey looked like the smarter play.

Pretty good video, although of ALL the highlights of the World Series, the one they didn't include was Hosmer's mad dash home that tied Game 5 and sent it into extra innings, which ultimately decided the game, and the entire series. Why would you leave that ONE play out?
