Spyderco dragonfly 2 in VG10 blade steel. Superb knife. The VG10 version doesn't come in yellow. I have the H1 steel version as well, and I swapped their handles. H1 is the one made for salt water. I think it's great, but I bought the serrated version and then realised that I much prefer the non-serrated. That's why I have two.
CRKT make some nice knives, I've had several. They start off sharp but they don't hold an edge, and they're more difficult to sharpen. I prefer the Spyderco knives for their material and you can get one that has a thinner handle which fits in the pocket better.
CRKT use a variety of steels, which do not share the same properties. Generally if a steel loses its edge easily, it is easier to sharpen. I've never had a problem bringing the *CR*MOV steels to a razor edge.
Beautiful and good ergonomics, but Spyderco non locking knives offer more bang for the buck. Especially the Byrd Tern. Cheaper, lighter, more suitable for EDC, g-10 handles and roughly the same steel.
Yeah they are nice. The Byrd Tern is lighter but it's currently more expensive, as this red CRKT is £25 instead of the £50ish that the normal versions cost before it was discontinued. I tried to like the Byrd knives but I just find them kinda ugly, although I do really like many Spydercos. But yes for low weight I'd carry my Spyderco. :)
Neat little blade, looks good in red
Got two, one black , one red, I modified the scales as seen on other YT videos, cutting the scales back massively improves the opening closing action
Steve, have you got a link to the videos plse ?

Andrew, I'll try to film next time I modify one of them. Follow the Nitsan's Manly Stuff channel (linked under the video) as well as this channel.
What is the yellow one please?

How did you get the opening and closing action so smooth? Effectively it looks there is no half close....
I can feel the half way detent but it's very light. I didn't do anything to change it. That's just how both mine are.

Mine just arrived, very pleased!
#Notification squaad 👌👌🔥🔥
How difficult was it do do the mod?
Not hard, just took a couple of hours with the rotary tool (Dremel style tool). Would be far easier with a belt sander.
I wonder what shipping to the USA would be :(
