Major thanks from a 54 yr old for all your reviews and info! Been researching for weeks after having been out of boarding for 14 yrs. Bought the Gremlin 2022 based partly on this glowing review but also using info about your other reviews indicating what boards wouldn't be preferable for me. Would've bought with links but like to support local. Joined your Patreon to show some love. Appreciate your knowledge and humor. >>boring backstory>> Started on a Burton Backhill then Performer before boarding was allowed on resorts in SoCal mtns (Bear, Summit, etc). 10-ish yrs later got a Burton Custom w/SI system and loved it. Donated it (and some Salomon and Kemper equip) around 2008 after not going at all for years due to kids and stuff. Now I have more time so diving in full bore!

@@bbolanda18 I've got the 158. I would ride it pretty much anywhere as a volume shifted party board, on groomers, sidehits, light pow/freshies, for true big mountain charging, probably not my first choice but I am also 6'3" 265lbs.

Just got one of these, loving it so far, impressed that it performs well on the firm and icy snow we get in the Pacific Northwest but also floats really nicely on the occasional powder day, it steamrolls through tracked-out areas better than any other board I’ve had

I just had to have the green one, got it in a 155 its a bit big for my 5'10 175lb and size 9 boots, but DAMN does it have stability. As opposed to my 21 dancehaul (which is just HAD to have in the gold sparkle) which i rife in a 143, this board feels like a 85 oldsmobile versus a 2009 nissan versa. The dancehaul is playful, bendy, floats in pow and cuts quick slashy carves, where the Gremlin hauls ass and takes a bit more hip and shoulder to swing around. At 27 years old after 16 years of riding hand-me-down gear i finally have 2 fully rigged up combos, each for their own distinct yet important purpose. The dancehaul is my lil spicy gal. The gremlin is my go-to for new terrain with potential ice or steeps. My wife just doesnt understand tho, i need to get the Nuzoid and the Cool Bean and then with 4 snowboards ill be fully stocked.

Just got back from my first ride on the gremilin on a wet pow day!
Man this board is a beast! I was worried i downsized too much with the 152 (I'm 172cm x 80kg), but appart from really deep powder i had no issues at all!
The board is super nimble and bizarrely stable for the size! I was going faster than I ever been on a run that I did in a 159 board before!
    Super recommended

Sizing question for those in the know. Advanced New England/Ice Coast rider, 5’10”, 205 lbs, 11.5 boot. Daily driver is a Gnu RCC3 158w. Typical riding is 75% charging hard on black/blue, 25% goofing around on blue/green side hits and rollers. Love Mervin tech for the type of conditions I typically see. Looking hard at getting a Gremlin to make a two-board quiver. From what I have read, the Gremlin will do well in powder conditions and spring slop and just general fun boosting off of stuff. Volume shifted with magnatraction looks like it would have no problems railing high speed turns on hardpack as well. I am torn on sizing: 152 or 155 cm? Boots should fit either, not sure how much high-speed stability/carving prowess I would be trading for agility/playfulness going to the smaller board. Hoping to pick the size that won’t make me want to head to the parking lot to swap out with the RCC3 in the afternoon when the good snow is busted because the Gremlin is too squirrely.
